death is certainly a very hostile response...so you are in favour of killing someone for throwing rocks?

Generally speaking of course not, BUT there could be extenuating circumstances, like where several perpetrators are engaged in a dangerous activity in a congested area where threat to life is a possibility and they won't cease and desist upon request. The safety of innocent people has to trump any other considerations.

what?

are you telling me that in your opinion there was no other way to solve this problem?

that's sad Walter that your expectation level is exceptionally low...but then being a former educator you are well aware that people rise to the level of expectation

There is no way for police to verify it is indeed a rock when it is being thrown. You are judging with the assumption that they know without a doubt it is a rock at the very moments it's happening.

Could very we'll be a makeshift bomb.

then they are morons unable to assess critical situations and should in no way be carrying guns, they are a danger to the community they are paid to serve.

It's easier making the right decision after the facts, now that we have all the information and it is confirmed.

My guess is you're no better at you're job as they are.
If you want to side with a moron who threw rocks at Police, be my guest.

Tell us how you would have kept people safe from someone throwing softball sized rocks at cars.

I'm pretty certain that well trained people with a half decent I.Q. do just fine in the moment.

our parliament a while back would be a good example...Kevin Vickers assessed and responded ALONE without a flak jacket and handled things

this guy has a rock and three numb nuts couldn't figure out what to do...pathetic

But as I said to Walter, the lower the expectation is for public servants the dumber they are.

no wonder all these people on here want to arm up for when the cops come for them...these three will be at the fore front...

It is not, but you can feel free to move on.

Cops killing a thug chucking rocks at them is a non-story. Stop making a big song and dance about it.

Killing him was not the appropriate response though.

It bloody well certainly was. If you're chucking deadly weapons at armed police officers then don't go crying to your mam when you get a bullet or two in you.

I'm not the person who turned this personal because they had no response...you are

so now if you feel looked down upon it's because you placed yourself that low when you made the "guess"
