Most backward drug law , reverend Blair ?

Go to a number of countries in Asia . Possession , pushing and smuggling of drugs , marijuana etc will get you the death penalty.

These countries have known and cultivated these drug producing plants for centuries . They are not ignorant , my friend . There is a reason for the death penalty.

Meanwhile , Canadians like you gloat over your type of ignorant moral superiority. Reverend .......Learn before you open your Canadian mouth.

If you reread the post Reverend posted you will see he said “In the free world". Asia isn't known for being very free.

Jay beat me to the punch - I was going to say a lot of the Asian countries with draconian drug laws have pretty undemocratic governments. And, to be fair, I suspect some places use harsh penalties as a deterrant because they can't afford to use the most up-to-date policing technology and the criminals know it. (Severity of penalty) x (risk of being caught) = deterrant factor?

Meanwhile , Canadians like you gloat over your type of ignorant moral superiority. Reverend .......Learn before you open your Canadian mouth.

Oh now, see, saying things like that just makes you look like an asshole.

If Walker:Texas Ranger stopped me,I'd get his autograph. Some people might try to fight him ,not me! I've seen what that man can do with his hands and feet..

RE: Man stopped by Texas

Observer, Japan doesn't have the death penalty for drug trafficking. Singapore, while a democracy, is one of the most socially-engineered states in the world, they are obsessive about governmental intrusion on people's personal lives. So some people may not think the term "free" really applies there. Just saying.
