I just recently signed up with a meat and dry good supplier. They only use South Western Ontario beef, pork and chicken...only grain fed and not pumped up with hormones etc.
They pay the farmers more for the product, but don't advertise, or have store fronts, so I pay the same as I would in a grocery store for a far better product.
I do not want SW Ontario to start factory farming...it would have devastating effects on our current farmers, whom I support, and SW Ontario is beautiful and I wish it to remain that way.
