I don't get the left, and I say that as someone who grew up in a left-wing household. Everyone time someone says the word "Muslim terrorist" a leftist will jump up and say, "you can't do that because you're being bigoted against ALL Muslims." Of course, no one who utters that phrase is implying any such thing, but that's not where the irony comes in. That comes when the leftist will state something like "all religions are bad," or "if only we could get rid of all religions, we'd have world peace."

I think they call that cognitive dissonance. Exists evawhar not just in Liberal circles. limbutt whines about morality and family values and the loud mouth been married several times.

If the violence rate across the USA, including CA, was falling anyways, then claiming success of new laws is just illogical.
The Gliberals here tried the same stunt after implementing the Long-gun Registery. Immediately after the implementation, firearms violence went UP, then came back down and THAT is when the Gliberals claimed success.

Did you hear about the one about Dicaprio, Walter? Apparently while he was filming in Alberta a Chinook blew in and scared the poopie out of him. Of course he immediately figured this was an example of climate change in action - actually was stupid enough to get up before a committee at the CCC in Paris and state just that.
