Was in a sports chat earlier today and some young folks never heard of him. Big surprise to me.

Lou Reed was a daring pioneer and innovator in the NYC Rock Underground days. Will be greatly missed.

No he wasn't, that's something you just read in his obit in some New Yuck underground innovative rag. Most of the human race will live and die and never be accosted by his screeching disharmonious assaults mistakenly packaged and labeled as music.
