One would think a lot of things, you, however have some difficulty putting thoughts together in any logical order. The people I have locked horns with never considered me a crackpot, they may have called me that and I've returned the gesture. Insults and innuendo are meant to demean and weaken people, but they were also on the other side of multimillion dollar contract negotiations, so fur does fly and gloves do come off, but I got results, by not listening to people like you. People like you only have your own little world view and how everyone should be compliant sheep, I don't know, maybe it's a Toronto and Vancouver thing. I love getting into the boardrooms with those types, they are just so bizarre I could start an entire thread on them.

Like most bullies you have a very small skill set. The facts speak for themselves, the people have spoken about gun regulation in Canada and you need to suck it up. "people like you" is why you're so scared all the time. If you met me you would enjoy having a beer and come away thinking that Unforgiven is passionate about his views but a nice guy none the less. At least that's what those who have met me say. So if you are as wrong as that about me, what else are you upside down on? I get results by listening to people.

Playing fast and loose with what you read again? I never said I want guns to kill people, but that is the ultimate defense if it comes to that. The US, Russia, Pakistan, India, UK, and probaly Israel have nuclear weapons, most of them would never want to have to resort to using them. I would rather have one and not need it than need it and not have one. You seem to think we should be able to rely on the state to defend us, and if they can't, well, that's just too bad. I don't accept that. Thinking that making responsible firearms owners more responsible is going to solve the problems associated with the illegal use of firearms is again your twisted use of logic, yes 7 X 13 does equal 28 in your universe, and the school of Lou Costello.

You never once mentioned hunting, or target shooting. All you have talked about so far is self defence in a scary world full of people out to get you. So no not fast a loose with what I read. If the feed back is too much for you then maybe rock and roll ain't your game son.

France also has the bomb. Didn't you know? North Korea also has the bomb, but of course you're frothing so badly at this point you don't even know what you're writing here any more. The point being that you, Bob, Dave and Brian don't have nuclear weapons. You rely on the state to protect you, for example against terrorism, or are you over in Afghanistan kicking some ass right now? No you couldn't even get your flaccid buttocks into fatigues and be anything other than a hostage in that country. When the city floods, it's the state that helps you. When terrorism strikes, it's the state that protects you. When the country is at war it's the state that protects you. Should you fall on hard times it's the state that gives you a hand up so you can get going again. For all of this you are asked to be peaceful and productive. Yet all you want to do is sit around all day on the Internet and cry about having to be responsible in order to own a firearm. Well your life sucks and you are the king of life sucking realities.

You seem to think that in firing a gun the bullet will go where you want it to, sorry, it takes a lot more than the ability to just point and pull the trigger. As far as a skill set needed to do you or your family harm with a bat, all that is needed is a couple, or few dedicated assailants with nothing on their minds other than to do you and yours harm, but good luck with that. BTW, Alphonse Capone favoured the bat when he personally meted out his form of justice.

With a shotgun you only need to be close. All you have to do is point it at someone and pull the trigger. If they are within twenty feet of you, they're in deep ****. Like I said, the offer still stands. Any time you want to test out your bat verses shotgun theory, you just come and see me. I am quite sure that you are all talk.

Lastly I'll point out your usual failing to understand any given situation. Capone never just beat someone with a bat, unless they were unarmed and had a dozen guns pointed at them should they make a move. That's the nature of the game.
