In the beginning yes for the lockdowns, last summer when the infection rate was low and knowing that there is a 98% survival rate, the lockdown should have been lifted while protecting the most vulnerable to achieve herd immunity. Instead of the paid media protecting the narrative they could have written about vitamins and supplements that could reduce the risk we might have possibly avoided this winter's resurgence.

Did you see the list of valid reasons? Just check the obits of the hot spot you want to go to. The published rules said funerals are a valid reason and it didn't specify relationship.
eta They also combined the two northern regions into one for travel purposes. Same for the coastal and Fraser Valley regions, so effectively there are only 4 regions.
