Liberals agree not to run candidate against Green leader

I live in the riding and know what's going on, you as usual are guessing. The liberals couldn't get anyone to run against the scumbag McKay. That was the case two weeks ago, and that's from a local liberal insider.
Hey, look at that. If 100% of the Liberals voted Green, the winner would have been.......MacKay.
Or, to look at it another way, to please 671 Green supporters, Dion has decided to piss off 10,349 Liberal supporters.
Makes sense to me.

This is a win for the NDP more than anybody and far from brilliant if you consider the outrage of voters who feel they are being manipulated.
I'll say it now like I have said before Dion has no grasp of the mood of Canadians and he will be gone within a year.

The facts don't change. Even if May got 100% of the Liberal votes, she would still be a distant third. She has no hope of winning this riding.
Another thing that Dion fails to recognize is that the more left he steers the Liberal party, the more the Liberals lose votes to the NDP. Let's not forget the thousands of NDP voters that hold their nose and vote Liberal strategically.
If the lastest voting trends continue, there may come a tipping point where those Dippers will not bother voting Liberal at all and we may find the NDP ahead of the Liberals.

That was before they shut down Trenton Works....now there's a couple hundred guys with nothing better to do.
Let's face it - if the libs can't find anyone to run (something I would dispute, based on the visits I've had there), that means they know they don't have a chance; so what hope does May have? Even less.

Never suggested Beav did say that. I'm suggesting that Dion is insane for going along with this moronic idea. But I expect the Liberal Party has a shortage of strategists these days.
