The 'taco trucks on every corner' Trump surrogate has history of multiple bankruptcies, financial scams

The Trump surrogate of the hilariously misfired “taco trucks on every corner” fame has been mired in financial woes and shady business transactions.

Director of the so-called Latinos for Trump, Marco Gutierrez, has filed for personal bankruptcy with his wife, Jennifer, a whopping 14 times and has had his real estate license revoked once for shady client transactions.

A woman and former employee of Gutierrez who testified against the couple in court said they would file for bankruptcy but then delay the proceedings as a tactic to save his assets, according to court filings cited by the Quinton Report.

“They explained to me how they were using the bankruptcy court to prevent foreclosure on their home and to prevent other collection efforts, since they had no money,” the woman’s testimony read. “Ms. Gutierrez explained to us that the way they were preventing a foreclosure was by filing for bankruptcy and then not following up on a legal requirement and that case would be dismissed.”

Ortiz takes Trump deep on immigration: 'It's a slap in the face'

Gutierrez is not unlike the GOP nominee he supports in that Trump is no stranger to bankruptcy court. In 18 years, the GOP nominee’s companies filed for bankruptcy four times, a move he has described as a routine business model used by “many many others on top of the business world.”

Some of Trump's surrogates have less-than polished backgrounds.

Gutierrez has also had his career in real estate compromised by at least two investigations into questionable transactions.

According to the Bay Area Mercury, the California Department of Real Estate revoked his broker’s license in 2012 after making two unauthorized charges to a client’s bank account. One charge was for $800.36 for a Sprint cell phone bill and $821.57 for a Comcast bill, the paper reported. Two years later, Gutierrez suspended a restricted broker's license following a second investigation.

The hilariously misfired line became a sensation online.

Gutierrez told The Daily News that he lost a lot of money during the recession and that the numerous bankruptcy filings were "in good faith." He says he suspended his real estate license in 2014 "because of the regulations of the state."

Trump lags in every state where he owns a golf course
"There were so many, I just didn't want to deal with it anymore," he said. Gutierrez says he still works in real estate, but in another capacity.

News of Gutierrez’s shaky background follows other similar discoveries regarding Trump surrogates who have entered the national spotlight to appeal to minority voters.

Last week, South Carolina pastor and Trump rally regular Mark Burns admitted to having falsified his military service and education during a cringe-inducing interview with CNN anchor Victor Blackwell.

Interestingly, many non-whites do not like Muslims very much, especially the Orientals, Indians, and Russians. The Black Baptists are not big fans of Islam either. There is no reason to think that Hispanics, who are mostly Catholic, love Muslims either. I don't expect any of those will be offended by Trump's idea of ideology screening for Muslims or the banning of any who follow Sharia Law.

Clinton dominating Trump among Florida Hispanics in new poll

Source: Politico

Trump by 24 points among likely Hispanic voters in Florida, according to a new poll that shows a significant number of Republican Latinos are unsure of their nominee for the White House.

Clinton’s 54-30 percent lead over Trump with Hispanic voters stands in marked contrast to the U.S. Senate race, where bilingual Republican incumbent Marco Rubio is ahead of Democratic U.S. Rep Patrick Murphy by 48-39 percent, a TelOpinion Research survey conducted for the conservative-leaning Associated Industries of Florida business group shows.

Clinton’s huge advantage over Trump is buoyed by strong support among Democrats (whom she carries 75-13 percent) and independents (among whom she wins 61-20 percent) in the poll of 600 likely Latino voters. Trump’s 63-19 percent lead over Clinton among Republican Hispanics could be much bigger, but 14 percent are undecided. That’s double the number of undecided Latino Democrats.

Those numbers worry Republicans because the polls show Trump is already under-performing 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s final margins with Florida Hispanics — yet there’s a month of campaigning left and Clinton is outgunning Trump in paid Spanish-language TV ads that are playing in heavy rotation in the Miami area.

That is not surprising. I would think that a lot of Latinos (Mexicans) are not particularly enthralled with all the drug activity around the U.S. - Mexico border and with Trump at the helm there's a chance he might put a crimp in the bastards' activities! :)

Clinton crushing Trump by 'historic' 30 points in Fla. Latino poll

Source: politico

Hillary Clinton is walloping Donald Trump by a “historic” 30-point margin among likely Florida Hispanic voters, according to a new Univision poll that shows she’s tied with him among Cuban-American voters who were once a bulwark of Republican support.
Clinton’s 58-28 percent lead is a net 6-point shift in her favor since Univision polled the presidential race last month with Florida Latinos. Her 30-point margin compares to President Obama’s final 21-point spread in his historic rout of Republican Mitt Romney among Florida Latinos, according to exit polls at the end of the 2012 election.
Story Continued Below

“We’re looking at Hillary Clinton winning historic margins with Latinos in Florida at this rate,” said Fernand Amandi, a Bendixen & Amanadi International pollster and Democrat who paired with the Republican Tarrance Group to conduct the bipartisan poll of 400 likely Hispanic voters in Florida and three other swing states.

If Clinton’s current margins with Hispanics in the Univision poll hold, Trump’s ability to win Florida — and therefore the White House — are seriously in doubt.

Don't make the same mistake as M.F. by getting mesmerized by polls. The only one that counts is still 31 days away.

I have a friend who lives in Florida. According to her, the latinos there are not popular. They are the ones involved in drugs and crime. Of course they will support the 'apologist' (Clinton).
