It really IS unbelievable........and yet we see it daily in living color. There have been a large number of calls from people actually considering i t. When health professionals and heeds of various companies ..think Lysol- have to make public statements of caution about using the disinfectants........there is a big problem.
He does not even factor in that people, when scared , will take his words literally.........and could die as a result of it. That is just reckless. Like he speaks without thinning ...........about the impact his words can have.

Yep, plenty of calls, scary isn't it? That there are people out there who hang on his every word to the point that they might actually consider this a viable treatment, it staggers the mind. It really does. And no, he does not see the danger, he doesn't see it at all. People have already died because of his inaction, now he needs to just STFU and maybe spare a few lives.

Exactly. If this past weekend hasn't been an eye opener for anyone who supports him there is little hope of changing their minds, they are lost in the abyss. There is simply no defending his actions since Friday.

It reminds me of a joke I heard, it goes like this:

How many Trump supporters does it take to change a lightbulb?
None, Trump tells them it's already been changed and they clap in the dark.

It is the perfect summation of a Trump supporter who refuses to find any fault with him. Yes, you are right, kids are watching and they will think he's right. Let's just hope their parents at least hid the Clorox.

To add, I hate that I can give your post only one greenie.
Your Trump supporter joke.......is totally spot on. The analogy is perfect.

Thanks for that.

It warrants a three greenie .;-)

I thought the same when I first heard it, it's a good one to share. I think it's a three greenie too, to whoever thought it up. But I'll take one greenie for sharing it.

respect is earned. Trump has not earned any. And no he is not clairvoyant.......and interrupting anyone is just plain garishly rude. The leader creates the atmosphere. The leader sets the tone.
Yet you are fine with reporters yelling over top of Trump . No such thing as a two way street .

I see his immaturity as well, and how fragile he actually is. An example is him pouting all weekend because he was cornered by the utterly stupid comment he made suggesting that disinfectant be injected into human beings in order to do a cleaning. I mean think about that, the US is nearing the same number of fatalities from this virus as was seen in the war in Vietnam, yet the leader of the free world hides and Twitter-rages. It's just unbelievable.
You actually think Trump suggested drinking bleach ? Okay .

While I am interested in the outcome for North Korea and the Kim Jong issue, I don't care to listen to people argue about Trump.

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes the reporters have to be assertive and push back on some of the crap that comes out of his mouth. The press isn't there to coddle him for fear of bruising his sensitive ego. He expects everyone to hang on his every word because he believes he's the smartest man in any room and if anyone calls him out on his crap it's boo-hoo from his supporters. Oh they hurt Donny's feewings, bad media! Bad! That's BS! He's the President of the United States for Christ's sake, not a friggen toddler.
Exactly and they should treat him as such . Name one president who was treated the same ? Not even that moron whose daddy bought him the presidency was treated like Trump .
You believe the worst of the man , want him to fail and therefore will jump on any so called slight , take his words out of context and generally lap up all Democratic talking points .
But of course you are a free thinker and have your own mind .I just wonder how CNN et/al have brain washed you ?

agree completely. Unfortunately he behaves like a toddler. He is emotionally very immature and very easily threatened. too thin skinned for the job. He is not objective about anything. He can't be as he takes everything personally.
He takes more questions at his press conferences, from a more diverse group of reporters then our PM at his . He actually calls on those hostile to him for questions , Our illustrious boy blunder of a PM . Takes 4 questions a day from friendly reporters firing preapproved softballs , which he promptly answers with his canned talking points in both French and English , no follow up questions , no push back just non answers . . You think Trudeau is doing a stellar job and Trump is a flounder out of water .
Can’t make this stuff up .

that is arrogant, presumptuous and you know it. If you are blind to his faults........then it is what it is. There are people who are blind to Kims faults too.
Not blind at all . Just not so hysterically obsessed that I think he is evil incarnate. Your hatred has no basis in reality .

What got me about this Weekend's little clusterfuk was the typical bashing of the reporters, as if it were somehow their fault they reported what he said, and that the cameras caught what he said thus televising it out for people to see.

I don't care what you thought of him before all this chaos started, how in the name of all that's holy and good can you see ANYTHING about this man at this point worthy of admiring in any way? He's shown no empathy, no concern nor even any THOUGHT really to what people are going through. He repeats what's written for him, but constantly adlibs to disprove what he just said, proving it was lies to begin with.

And there are kids watching him thinking that just because he's President, he's good and right. Gods help the US when those kids get older if their parents do NOT actually teach them that he's a fuking moron and not worth listening to.
Maybe because his parents know that he isn’t a moron and is doing his best for the country .

If the press didn’t jump all over his statement 95% of Americans would have never heard it . And Trump did not suggest drinking Lysol but the unbiased press sure framed it that way and blasted it across the airwaves for days on end . Who’s fault would it be if some Mensa member thinks drinking Lysol is an acceptable treatment ? In my mind the mainstream fake media .

Reporters think they are prosecutors? Well that they at times will "lay a foundation" before posing a question, I can see that comparison. But it's during that time when Trump often interrupts without knowing what the question will be.

How is it disrespect when reporters are looking for clarity on the comments/statements he makes in front of them? When he suggests that perhaps disinfectants can be injected into people to fight a virus that has killed over 55,000 Americans, how would you like the press to react? No really, I'm interested to know your answer. How should the press have reacted to that comment?

Disrespect? Please tell how the press disrespects him? By posing questions? I'll tell you who's disrespectful, it's the President himself. He disrespects anyone who questions him, opposes him, challenges him or disobeys him. Disrespect? Have you ever glanced at his Twitter account? Have you seen the way he talks to/about people? Have you watched his rallies? Donald Trump is the poster boy of disrespect.
Yup he calls a spade a spade and some can not handle shovels . He plays the press like a marionette and they fall for it every time, and all you little lemmings fall right along with them .
