I agree. But really looks always become secondary. Once you really get to know a person and care for, like or love them, they somehow always seem to become more 'beautiful'. I always think that everybody has beauty in them, we just need to learn how to look at it. Might be a bit trite, but deep down I believe it.
Kind of like slave labour for the Nazi war machine but not really. Although he was not allowed to pay them more than a slave's wage he provided for them much better than most Jews had it at tremendous risk to himself and treated them in a far superior way to what his peers of the day did to their workers. He took on great personal risk to accomplish saving 1200 Jews from certain death. However, unlike the turtles, those people were not transported to different countries, split apart, and sold for profit. Oskar died penniless after spending all his profits to obtain extra food and supplies for his Jewish workers on the black market during the war and at one point at the end of the war was in danger of being killed by both the allies and the Nazis.
There is absolutely no comparison between Schindler and this idiot smuggling turtles and you are a an idiot for trying to make that comparison of a great, brave, humanitarian and a lowlife smuggler of endangered wildlife.

2, You have no proof that he endangered them, in fact it's common practice to place specimens of endangered species in captivity to protect them.
3, Since the wild population is dwindling rapidly, he may be doing it a favour.

He was a businessman, he started his 'endeavor' to make money. Whether it was with Jewish workers or other workers didn't matter to him.
Oh so now this guy is working to protect the species??? That would be why the animals were all declared with proper paperwork and on their way to zoos and wildlife preserves.:roll:
Most certainly removing them from their natural habitat and climate and not giving them possible mates to reproduce is entirely beneficial to the species.

A reasoned discussion would start with your admission of just how incorrect you are about Schindler and how ludicrous your comparison of him to a turtle smuggler is. I won't hold my breath though as you seem to have absolutely no ability to reason most of the time and especially when someone proves you to be a moronic buffoon.

That's your opinion, and given how often I've proven you wrong, not to mention the context in which I made the comparison, and of course there's the little matter where you admit I was right, at the beginning of your post. Your opinion really isn't worth the bandwidth it takes up.
