Does anyone remember this little guy? Has anything changed?
Executive Summary: Gove Inquiry into Child Protection
Executive Summary: Gove Inquiry into Child Protection
well they didn't take away three people who I know of that got reported... I am still dicey about the one but the other was funny actually... a friend was wrestling with his kid on the couch...he was throwing him around and the kid hit the coffee table and got a good sized bruise on his forehead...next day the teacher asked him what happened and he nonchalantly says, my dad threw me into the coffee table... they ended up getting investigated and he is a spec ed teacher who is absolutely gifted with kids...his attitude was one that I hope all good parents would have...better to investigate my home than have a kid fall threw the cracks..But the only way to be SURE, would be to take the kid away Sal.
I would hope so too.If you see bruises you call the cops.
If you see bruises you call the cops.
yeah pretty much that is the rule... and I wouldn't call the first time unless I saw finger prints... or specific indicators...kids rough house even with each other... kids that are abused begin to get a 'look' to them ...you know that look it's waryI used to run a day home, and the rule of thumb was, bruises over bones don't need a report (foreheads, shins, knees, elbows, ribs). Bruises on meaty parts of the body (cheeks, buttocks, stomach, thighs, biceps), do.
What, with dead kids? Delighted!Exactly, the system catches tons.
It's not necessarily 'the system's fault, or the neighbours' fault. The only person we know is at fault is whoever murdered the child (happy TBone?).
Oh, OK. Lock her up, then. A trial would be a waste of time and money. The government would never lie or be mistaken.
