Comey was selected for his job because of his experience and integrity.
Trump, on the other hand, ....
He knows how to con unwitting investors out of their brass so conning gormless hillbillies who think that he's going to "make America great again" or "drain the swamp", all the while filling it with his own corrupt cronies was a piece of cake.

Let's not confuse character with intelligence. Some crime bosses, though lacking in character, are far from stupid. I think Trump is smart in a corrupt sort of way. He knows how to benefit himself at least materially.

He is right of course. Trump's reaction is predictable. Spewing his toxicity via Twitter like a stung cobra. Trump is emotionally juvenile...... ......and that is only a segment of his psych disorders.
One has to assume that his supporters are not all that educated.......as most with a basic education can see he is emotionally unfit for the job........and shows it daily in his vengeful twitter rants.
Comey ........ by virtue of his decision re: reopening the investigation on H. emails......... did trump a favor........ as that decision was the influencing one on many voters who had been undecided. Trump should be grateful......... but is choosing to act like a one man verbal lynching team.But then....... he DOES personify the American mindset. Trump is a rich kid (that never grew up) with a hillbilly mentality.
Being fired from this regime is a "blessing" in disguise.

Why did Page turn on her lover Strzok too? Well, Strzok was McCabe’s number two, and he knew Comey and McCabe had planned all along that Page would be the “fall guy” if any of these crimes were exposed.

Comey didn’t count on IG Horowitz actually delving into his deep state operations, flipping attorney Lisa Page, and that his number two, McCabe, would be grilled and at first deny that he ever leaked anything but then be fired for finally testifying under oath that, YES, he did leak non-public information and that Comey knew all about it.
McCabe’s stated on March 17, 2018, “The OIG investigation has focused on information I chose to share with a reporter through my public affairs officer and a legal counselor. As Deputy Director, I was one of only a few people who had the authority to do that. It was not a secret, it took place over several days, and others, including the Director, were aware of the interaction with the reporter.”
BOOM. Forget McCabe’s recriminations that it was “legal;” he was fired for leaking – actually planting is a better word – a story to make himself and Comey appear justified for not recusing him from the Hillary investigation after he took a payoff. This all points now to “Cardinal Comey” as he tries to launch his sanctimonious book tour. What a joke.
Catherine Herridge mentions one more thing that points to there being evidence that Barack Obama was being briefed on all of these crimes. She says, “[T]he texts suggested a series of high-level briefings began on Capitol Hill and at the White House.” So, stay tuned as we see whether Comey flips on Obama to save his own skin. This is getting so hot, I bet we will see the former president jet off to parts unknown.

Trump's approval rating went down, not up. We will see if the bombing changes this week's polling. It likely will.
