At his peak i remember how much he resembled a British aristocrat.. all bluster and pomposity. He used to say how much he admired the Queen.
The real patriots of Quebec saw how their culture flourished in the Canadian mosaic. The defeatist and losers rejected all that.. and sold out to an absurd notion of 'Sovereignty Association' developed as a ploy by the Quebecois political class as a method to wrest all power from Canada well retaining all the benefits of citizenship.
Separation is a force that has exhausted itself.. undone by the beneficial and constructive logic of Confederation for all its communities.. and the cynical disingenuousness of the separatists.
