Concerned and worryied relatives sit outside of the hospital room of a critically ill patient.

Doctor approaches them and tells them that the patient can only survive with a brain transplant, but luckily, the brains of a conservative and an NDP'er are available. Cost for the conservative brain: $20.00. Cost for the NDP one: $10,000.00.

The relatives are surprised and ask the doctor why the big difference. The doctor explains that the NDP brain is more expensive because it has never been used.

That's about the stupidest statement on here this morning- for all his "rough edges", he can out debate about 90% of the people on here.

OK lets assume CB posts aren't insulting distractions. Perhaps you can clarify his point:

Is that why you post so much of it?
That seems directed at me personally. Its a sort of "Have you stopped beating your wife?" type question, which is really a statement. To me the intended purpose of his post was not to debate my opinion, but discredit me. But maybe I didn't get his point. What point was CB trying to make regarding the topic of the thread?

I'm reacting to your unwarranted jab at me.

We both like to post on this forum. I try not to be insulting or demeaning. You seem to enjoy being insulting and demeaning. I admit I have crossed the line occasionally and when I get called out on it, I apologize and retract my post. You'll reply with another insult.

My purpose on this forum is to sharpen my debating skills and learn from others. What's your purpose here?

Why?

It's all in the platform.

I hate Farty, don't like Mr. Harvard, May is a joke and I think Harper is a vindictive, power hungry, liar.

Plus I have met all three of my local candidates and she is the best of the bunch.

Proceed to rip my guts out.
Good Luck with that!

Since you seem intent on this.

I'm reacting to your unwarranted jab at me.
It was a jab?

I try not to be insulting or demeaning. You seem to enjoy being insulting and demeaning.
And calling anyone that doesn't agree with you 100%, supporter of war crimes, crimes against humanity and an Israeli apologist is a compliment?
I admit I have crossed the line occasionally and when I get called out on it, I apologize and retract my post. You'll reply with another insult.
Pointing out that you support neo Nazi regimes, isn't an insult, it's a proven fact.

My purpose on this forum is to sharpen my debating skills and learn from others.
You've failed.

What's your purpose here?
Countering your blind hatred and neo Nazi propaganda.

With that said, can we get back on topic now?

Alot of the debating methods on most forums will cause you to lose your debating skills. If you truly wanted to sharpened your skills, you'd have to be thick skinned enough to ignore most replies, and self controled enough to not respond to the trolls. Also, you shouldn't be behaving like a troll either, not even once in awhile.

The nice thing about this election is that no one is in control of the agenda. Jack and the
crew are soaring again today in Quebec and other parts of the country. The Liberals are
now becoming desperate, and Iggy looks stressed. The new commercials attacking the
NDP look like they were done by amateurs. The Conservatives are fighting back but the
time may be running thin. I really believe its a long way from over but the undecideds
and the young vote is hanging back to a large degree. In a campaign like this, it would
suggest that if the wave continues through Wednesday and Thursday, this election is up
for grabs. The longer the undecideds hold onto to their vote the less likely they are to
vote for the government, in this kind of a situation. What I think is happening the two old
parties made promises that would come true in 2014 or the Liberals down the road and
in the near future. Jack is talking about a serious plan that will be rolling in the next 100
days. He is emerging from out of nowhere and the more they attack him the more serious
the voter considers him. The more they attack him the more Canadians like an underdog.
The orange wave I like it I hope he gives the others an a** kicking.

This old crap about communism is little more than nonsense. I have always believed
in free enterprise but companies must be responsible to the communities they serve
and to the country as a whole. Do I believe in unbridled capitalism No do I believe in
unbridled socialism NO.
Why is it the conservatives and liberals bring up the communism scare when they are
afraid of things slipping out of control? At the same time they borrow the ideas of the
NDP like Medicare and Pensions and a whole list of social improvements first introduced
by the NDP? They can no longer have it both ways,

I, myself don't bring up the "old crap about communism' because I realized long time ago that there is no use arguing with idiots. They would only ignore or denigrate my opinion in spite of the fact that I lived under communism, while they see it only through the rose-coloured prism of over-educated but thoroughly inexperienced ideologues. They would tell you that the Berlin wall and the Iron Curtain were built to keep oppressed people from capitalist countries out of the Communist Workers' Paradise. They would tell you that you are a criminal if you don't VOLUNTARILY give most of the result of your hard work - be it sweaty physical labour or intellectual work - to those who are unwilling to help themselves. They would bitch and moan about fairness and equality while denouncing equal taxation rates for everybody.

NDP and unions - the close relatives of Communism - are long overdue for a well-deserved demise. Admittedly, they were useful at on time, long ago, but they are nothing but autumn grasshoppers who want the fruits of the summer ants' labour.

here's something that I think everyone here can finally agree is f*cked up:

Mexican permit workers love socialist Harper. 258,000 were working in Canada in 2008 while unemployment was 8.9%. These Mexicans and their families got full healthcare, education and many even went home with EI or took EI maternity leave while their wives hatched little Mexicanadians in Canadian hospitals. $23Million in EI benefits were paid out to Mexicans in Mexico who were enjoying life on the Baja EI surf team while Canadian's benefits ran out and they had to go on welfare.

Nope. Harper isn't a socialist at all.....

wow, you are definitely stuck in the 80s anti union propaganda....... like ISO2005 quality management systems , a union merely seeks to replace arbitrary decisions and discriminatory practises with policy and proceedure. Rather than being a thing of the past, I think they were ahead of their time.

Only 1% of Mexicans TPWs (Temporary Permit Workers) are currently claiming benefits but nothing is stopping the rest of them from taking a kick at the can. That is 2580 Mexicans on EI more than should be.

Harper recently agreed to even more TPW under a recently signed agreement with Mexico named the CMP (Canada Mexico Partnership)

Harper even wants to spend your tax dollars on Mexican social housing and educations which was termed "Human Capital".

Do some Joogling on the CMP and "labour mobility".

There are Mexican construction workers in in SK.

I'm pretty sure Canadians would prefer and need those jobs.
