Well, questioning the validity of the first premise is besides the fact. The fallacy is based on the equivocation with 'nothing'. It could be pizza and a ham sandwich and the conclusion would be necessarily that a ham sandwich is better than pizza.

And that's just wrong.

I hate ham. That being said, a ham pizza and ham sandwich are equal to me. Both ridiculously disgusting and not edible for me without a gag reflex. They are equally gross.

What about Hawaiian-style with bacon instead of ham? *drools*

well, no, I like pineapple but not on pizza. I will accept back bacon as a ham replacement though but only if it's very well done and kind of on the crispy side. I prefer Pepperoni though. Just pep, extra cheese, well done but not burnt. That's how pizza is supposed to be.

I hear you - pizza will ruin any respectable food it comes in contact with. YUCK

Ham isn't bad but if you don't like it you might try head cheese as an alternative- UMMMMMMM delicious.

God didn't create the Universe because it's self-creating, and infinite in distance and duratiion with finite construction possibilities.

Elliptical galaxies are constructed from the emission groudstate called empty space or the background microwave radiation, and can evolve into spiral galaxies. These evolve into globular galaxies, which in turn evolve into nebula galaxies. These galaxies de-construct back to the emission groundstate from which elliptical galaxies are constructed.Within spiral galaxies stars and solar systems are constructed from the emission groundstate.

The above derives from the ultimate Paradigm of Science, which also specifies the construction and evolution of Biology. The Paradigm is presented in the essay "The Ultimate Paradigm of Science (The Universe beyond the Abstractionist Paradigm of Physics)". God is the self created universe and creation is constant and infinite in possibility. Nothing happens without electricity. Electricity defines and rules every cubic centimeter of the universe. There are no exceptions.
I'm reading the essay anyway.

Have to argue that point. My wife has told me a 100 times her mother could whip up a damn tasty meal out of nothing. Christ himself fed a multitude of about 5,000 out of a handful of fish. :)
I just read a comment somewhere that said there were childish people about, anybody seen such critters??

Something cannot come from nothing.
Sure it can, it can go back to being the same again too. Take some 'mass' with a known 'density', apply enough heat that it expands as far as possible. The only number that changes is 'density', cool it off as much as possible and it becomes as dense as possible.

The 'density' of the universe is less today than it was 10B years ago, 100B years from now it could be so large new stars are not forming as the bits of mass are so far apart there is no 'clumping'. Something with a density that is so low it cannot be measured.

My theory is that there may have been a creator of the Universe,
heck the Universe may be the Creator but that We (our higher selves)
created ourselves. On the metaphysical and quantum physical levels
we are just energy and the Earth provides the medium for us
to manifest in the physical.
I'm not the only one who thinks this, so no, the debate is not over.
On the physical level we are unity of matter and energy.
On the quantum physical level we are unity of micro-particles
and micro-energy. We don't know the basic micro-particle,
we don't know the basic micro-energy substance and
therefore the debates are not over.
And without Quantum Physics the ''creator's problem''
cannot be solved.
