It's gonna be the NDP.

The Angus Reid poll puts the NDP at 45% and the Liberals at 36%. The difference is far more than the margin of error, which means Adrian the **** will be the next premier.

lol The only poll that is certain is the election polls.
Pretty pathetic. Either Gliberals or Dippers. Same old out of the frying pan into the fire whichever way it goes. BCers just don't seem to learn from experience and are fools for not passing the STV electoral system instead of this archaic and draconian FPTP system.
NZ & Tassie look more and more inviting.

Have to agree with you on that! I think a simple majority vote on the referendum would have been a better plan rather than the 60% bar.

Politicians: "struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."Dix is just an actor, although Crispy is more pleasing to the eye, and will do his puppet masters' bidding like a good little boy the same way Crispy would do.

Getting rid of Christi was a project of mine. Can not stand this woman. I was so ticked
with their attitude long before she arrived on the scene. Gordo was the worst thing that
ever happened even worse than some of the other guys earlier in our history.
I prefer Dix though there are things that bother me about him too.

It's going to be a minority Gov. Be ready to deal with the Commercial Drive lesbian moonbeams that hate progress but line up for $2.99 breakfasts.

It's going to be a majority for the Dip's.

And the good folks of BC are going to find out what failing to learn from past mistakes really means.

BC claims to have the lowest taxes in Canada but the reality is that BC has created a shell game with taxes now hidden or renamed as fee's.
The fact is BC has one of the highest costs of living in Canada.
And Adrian Dix is going to ramp that cost of living way way up.

Higher property taxes.
Higher business taxes.
Higher health care fee's.
Higher income taxes.
Higher PST.
Higher carbon taxes.
Higher user fee's.

Cuts to logging.
Cuts to O&G drilling.
Cuts to pipelines.
Cuts to hardrock mines.
Cuts to open pit mines.
Cuts to the coal export terminals.
In fact cuts or delays to every form of resource development.

Big pay raises for the public service.
And even bigger pay raises for those $100,000 a year, 3 months annual vacation, taxpayer funded solid gold pension plan teachers.

No politician is perfect, but lets face it some are worse than others and Campbell and Clarke have been the worst for BC, truly disastrous. Will Dix give us miracles? Sadly no, but anyone would be better than the the conservatives in Liberal clothing.

The HST was the Liberal downfall..

I wouldn't trust the Liberals NOT to try to bring in the HST for a second time.

Chicken Little

Only if your a young person planning on finding a decent job in your hometown in BC.
Alberta has been taking them in for years and they are gearing up to take a whole bunch more.
Kinda sad that.

Are the young really expecting to find a job in their hometown these days? If that is indeed the case then they need a reality check. People both young and old have been going to where the jobs are for many years.

You're right. Sad but true.

Polls are often wrong. But they are rarely wrong when they have a significant sample size and conducted this close to the election. They are even less likely to be wrong if a poll agrees with several other polls, which it does.

I wouldn't fret about economic meltdown either. The fact is that in most developed democracies there is not that wide a gap between the the fiscal performance of the left and the right, and in the interdependent global economy, the impact of the global economic picture is much greater.

My own prediction is the current caste of bumbling morons will be replaced by an entirely new cadre of bumbling morons.
