Who was your hero?

Goebbels or Himmler?
Weren't the war-criminals? Isn't Israel up on the same sort of charges for murdering some 1400 Palestinians in Gaza, seems like the Jews sort of adopted their methods. Look at this partial list of things they were doning even before the declared themselves a Nation. Almost a preview of what the next 70 years would look like.

"KHISAS MASSACRE: 18 December 1947(Palestine) : Two carloads of Haganah terrorists drove through the village of Khisas (on the Lebanese Syrian border) firing machine guns and throwing grenades. 10 Arab civilians were killed in the raid. Back to top
QAZAZA MASSACRE:

19 December 1947(Palestine) : 5 Arab children were murdered when Jewish terrorists blew up the house of the village Mukhtar. Back to top
The Semiramis Hotel Massacre: 5/7/1948(Palestine): The Jewish Agency escalated their terror campaign against Palestinian Arabs.
They decided to perpetrate a wholesale massacre by bombing the Semiramis Hotel in the Katamon section of Jerusalem, in order to drive out the Palestinians from Jerusalem. The massacre of the Semiramis Hotel on January 5, 1948, was the direct responsibility of Jewish Agency leader David Ben-Gurion and Haganah leaders Moshe Sneh and Yisrael Galili. If this massacre had taken place in World War II, they would have been sentenced to death for their criminal responsibility along with the terrorists who placed the explosives.
A description of the massacre of the Semiramis Hotel from the United Nations Documents follows, as well as the Palestinian Police report on the crime sent to the Colonial Office in London:
January 5, 1948. Haganah terrorists made a most barbarous attack at one o’clock in the early morning of Monday…at the Semiramis Hotel in the Katamon section of Jerusalem, killing innocent people and wounding many. The Jewish Agency terrorist forces blasted the entrance to the hotel by a small bomb and then placed bombs in the basement of the building. As a result of the explosion the whole building collapsed with its residents. As the terrorists withdrew, they started shooting at the houses in the neighborhood. Those killed were: Subhi El-Taher, Moslem; Mary Masoud, Christian; Georgette Khoury, Christian; Abbas Awadin, Moslem; Nazira Lorenzo, Christian; Mary Lorenzo, Christian; Mohammed
Saleh Ahmed, Moslem; Ashur Abed El Razik Juma, Moslem; Ismail Abed El Aziz, Moslem; Ambeer Lorenzo, Christian; Raof Lorenzo, Christian; Abu Suwan Christian family, seven members, husband, wife, and five children.
Besides those killed, 16 more were wounded, among them women and children. The following is a text of a cable by the High Commissioner for Palestine to the Colonial Office about the massacre:
Jerusalem. 0117 hours, Urban. At approximately 0117 hours, a grenade was thrown into the Semiramis Hotel, Katamon Quarter, causing superficial damage but no casualties. During the ensuing confusion, a charge was placed in the building and it exploded about one minute later, completely demolishing half the hotel. Witnesses have stated that the perpetrators arrived by way of the Upper Katamon Road in two taxis. Four persons are reported to have alighted from the first taxi, and one person, who apparently covered the main party, from the second. All were wearing European clothes…
Back to top The Massacre at Dair Yasin:
9/4/1948(Palestine): The forces of the Zionist gangs Tsel, Irgun and Hagana, fitted out with the Zionist terrorist strategy of killing civilians in order to achieve their aspirations, began stealing into the village on the night of April 9, 1948. Their purpose was to uproot the Palestinian people from their land by coming upon the inhabitants of the village
unawares, destroying their homes and burning them down on top of those inside, thereby making clear to the entire world to what depths of barbarism Zionist had sunk. The attack began as the children were asleep in their mothers' and fathers' arms. In the words of Menachim Begin as he described events, "the Arabs fought tenaciously in defense of their homes, their women and their children." The fighting proceeded from house to house, and whenever the Jews occupied a house, they
would blow it up, then direct a call to the inhabitants to flee or face death. Believing the threat, the people left in terror in hopes of saving their children and women. But what should the Stern and Irgun gangs do but rush to mow down whoever fell within range of their weapons. Then, in a picture of barbarism the likes of which humanity has rarely witnessed except on the part of the most depraved, the terrorists began throwing bombs inside the houses in order to bring them down on whoever was
inside. The orders they had received were for them to destroy every house. Behind the explosives there marched the Stern and Irgun terrorists, who killed whoever they found alive. The explosions continued in the same barbaric fashion until the afternoon of April 10, 1948.7 Then they gathered together the civilians who were still alive, stood them up beside the walls and in corners, then fired on them.8 About twenty-five men were brought out of the houses, loaded onto a truck and led on a
"victory tour" in the neighborhood of Judah Mahayina and Zakhroun Yousif. At the end of the tour, the men were brought to a stone quarry located between Tahawwu'at Shawul and Dair Yasin, where they were shot in cold blood. Then the Etsel and Layhi "fighters" brought the women and the children who had managed to survive up to a truck and took them to the Mendelbaum Gate.8 Finally, a Hagana unit came and dug a mass grave in which it buried 250 Arab corpses, most of them women, children
and the elderly.9
A woman who survived the massacre by the name of Halima Id describes what happened to her sister. She says, "I saw a soldier grabbing my sister, Saliha al-Halabi, who was nine months pregnant. He pointed a machine gun at her neck, then emptied its contents into her body. Then he turned into a butcher, and grabbed a knife and ripped open her stomach to take out the slaughtered child with his
iniquitous Nazi knife."10 In another location in the village, Hanna Khalil, a girl at the time, saw a man unsheathing a large knife and ripping open the body her neighbor Jamila Habash from head to toe. Then he murdered their neighbor Fathi in the same way at the entranceway to the house.11 A 40-year-old woman named Safiya describes how she was come upon by a man who suddenly opened up his trousers and pounced on her. "I began screaming and wailing. But the women around me were all meeting the same fate. After that they tore off our clothes so that they could fondle our breasts and our bodies with gestures too horrible to describe."12 Some of the soldiers cut off women's ears in order to get at a few small earrings.13 Once news of the massacre had gotten out, a delegation from the Red Cross tried to visit the village. However, they weren't allowed to visit the site until a day after the
time they had requested. Meanwhile the Zionists tried to cover up the evidence of their crime. They gathered up as much as they could of the victims' dismembered corpses, threw them in the village well, then closed it up. And they tried to change the landmarks in the area so that the Red Cross representative wouldn't be able to find his way there. However, he did find his way to the well, where he found 150 maimed corpses belonging to women, children and the elderly. And in addition to the bodies which were found in the well, scores of others had been buried in mass graves while
still others remained strewn over street corners and in the ruins of houses.14
Afterwards, the head of the terrorist Hagana gang which had taken part in burying the Palestinian civilians wrote saying that his group had not undertaken a military operation against armed men, the reason being that they wanted to plant fear in the Arabs' hearts. This was the reason they chose a peaceable, unarmed village, since in this way they could spread terror among the Arabs and force them to flee.15"

Should I stop at independence day or find the complete list, after all you should know your handlers.

Hard to say. There are good guys and bad on both sides. Hmmm... unless you meant that good Israelis and good Arabs just want survival, while the other Israelis and Arabs would accept genocide?

Try a guess at percentages of population - Include indoctrination by Radio, TV, Schools and other such media as news paperers etc.

That may make it a tad clearer

Depends on which TV, Newspapers, and Radio you're talking about. Are you talking about Fox, the National Post, etc. or Al-Zazeera? Are you including Le Devoir? What about Le Monde Diplomatique? They each have their slants.

I'm exposed to a fairly wide range of media. So are you referring to Arabs wanting to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, or Israelis wanting to wipe all Palestinians off the face of the earth?

There are two sides here, and if you read a wide enough range of media, you'll find that they all have different views, even within the same newspaper.

In the end, I think we can keep it quite simple:

Israel has every right to defend its territorial boundaries as defined by international law, while all Israeli settlements beyond Israel's borders can expect annexation from others.

I will pose a question
A man with a sign (Placard) stating - Negotiate now - Peace now - We are all the children of Abraham.
Handing out leaflets stating the same.
He walks thru Gaza

He walks thru the West Bank

He walks thru Israel

Tell me what you think the results would be -

What would happen in your opinion

Now I am off to bed as I start work at 5 am - old and tired - so please take time and give a thoughtful answer as I am sure you will and tell me tomorrow.

Probably the same thing as here. People might chat with him, debate with him, etc. Now if he wore a Jewish cap on his head, maybe, maybe some Arab gunman would kill him, depending on where he was, what he was doing, who was around, etc. unless he could read the placard in which case he might approach the man in curiosity to ask him what it's about.

If he dressed like an Arab, maybe some Jews would eye him with suspicion, maybe some police harassment as they check him out for bombs, etc.? if in Palestinian territory, maybe the risk of being shot by a crazy Israeli soldier when out of sight of authorities,or who has a crazy platoon commander, but again highly unlikely.

My guess is that most persons, Israeli or Arab, don't take pleasure in killing people, so I'd guess he'd have a pretty good chance of survival even if he dressed like a Jew or Muslim, though granted the risk would still be there either way.

Little hard to get the video clips of the incidents, seem like all the cameramen were somewhere else. Surely you don't object to some facts being thrown in about what was going on back then. Yes I realize they are war crimes even before they claimed statehood without any defined borders. Odd that the map the Jews wanted was absent of Gaza and the West Bank being there.
Once you get to know what happened in each village then perhaps you can answer your own poll.

That would mean the photographer was the one trying to pass his photo's off as more than what they were. Perhaps they should be there when death is raining down from the skies rather than having to pay a few actors so his pictures will sell. That photo set wasn't used as proof to show that 1400 people were killed in Gaza.
No it was used to make Israel's retaliation to rocket attacks look more severe then it actually was. That's why I vet photographers through NGO's like CAMERA.

Several photographers are Palestinian sympathizers and have no second thoughts about selling out their journalistic integrity, to win a few points for the home team.

This is something you and EAO fail to grasp.

Video with witness's is the only way you possibly could win your case, and only maybe. They has been so much false anti Israeli propaganda put out lately by the Hamas minister. They do make a good case as did the Germans in the 1930's.

Which exact bombing campaign was this. CAMERA.ORG is a pretty big site care to narrow down my search. It wouldn't appear they are collecting anything for the Courts. Imagine what sort of campaign they could have if they brought in the high$ PR Firms that Israel (and the US) has hired in the recent past to help clean up their image. Putting lots of spin into the news is also one of their methods used isn't it.
That would seem to indicate that the rest of the photographers are Israeli sympathizers, I would agree with that. Pictures of damage to Israel's soil is probably worth more and easier to sell. Plus your life is never put on the line as long as you don't try to ditch your guide.

In a war crimes-trial I think you are allowed to introduce some background as to why the events of today are the way they are. That would go back at least as far as the Balfour Declaration in which it is made known that Lord Rothschild desires Palestine be made available as a Jewish homeland that will be financed by the rest of the world (@ interest and great cost once you factor in two WW's). Wouldn't that sort of history be revelent as to why Hamas was even elected, the PA had adopted western ways (the top leaders robbed millions from the people) and why they have some upcoming charges once Israel stops balking at their being a war-crimes trial.

If it turned out that Israel (of today along with a few of her freinds) was shown to be going down the same path as Nazi Germany was in the late 20's which would inevitabbly lead to the same thing. Only the names would change on the charge sheet in a war-crimes trial. Of the 33 Nations that made her existance possible which would be responsible for civil penalitie$? I hardly see where making Haiti, and a few others, should be saddled with additional debt because of a program they didn't introduce. That would have been Britain, perhaps she should also pick up the bill for her colonies if they voted the way they did because of loyality.

I found some great pics of how the borders have 'migrated' from what Lord Rothchild originally wanted and what it looked like on 'independence day', that along with the deaths of Arab civilians in the previous 5 1/2 months was the reason for war. Her borders have been expanding to what was originally designed for her.

I doubt the Rothchild are Christians so maybe on their way to making the Bible become real they need that whole OT Israel before they can start fo offer blood to God (thereby proving God has chosen them to lead mankind forever where they are the Lords and we are the worshippers. That is what happens when you have too much money for too long, apparently. The world today is the way it is because of banking not politics, given a choice the citizens of a country should prefer to spent 600B on public works rather than destruction of what has cost billions to build, and billions more to rebuild. (course in Afghanistan and Iraq there never was any intention to rebuild those facilities so they fucntioned with 21st century effectiveness. They will suffer the same fate as Gaza, a long slow choke until death while the rest of world watches) Not the whole world, isn't there some 20 ships headed that way so Israel will stop them opening up piracy charges and more war crimes (sea-blockade of humanitarian supplies). You can bet there will be lots of video for this event.

This is all Hamas knows.

The borders will keep migrating until Hamas puts down its arms and recognizes Israel's right to exist. If not this will go on till Gaza becomes just another city in Israel, and Hamas and the Palestinians become another footnote in history.

Just like the original design.

"Baruch Kimmerling and Joel S. Migdal consider the 1834 revolt of the Arabs in Palestine as constituting the first formative event of the Palestinian people. Under the Ottoman rule (1516-1917), Palestine's Arab population mostly saw themselves as Ottoman "

Seems that Palestinians didn't exist before 1834. So maybe a correction in my previous statement is due "That statement I will not argue with." . We can argue this, Palestinians do not belong in the lands of Israel, unless they become citizens of Israel. The U.N. caused this problem and it should be they who find a place for them to live.

How about as a long term solution the U.N. sends all the Palestinians back to Turkey where they originally came from.
"When she first arrived in Sweden after her rescue from a Nazi concentration camp, Judith Popinski was treated with great kindness.
She raised a family in the city of Malmo, and for the next six decades lived happily in her adopted homeland - until last year.
In 2009, a chapel serving the city's 700-strong Jewish community was set ablaze. Jewish cemeteries were repeatedly desecrated, worshippers were abused on their way home from prayer, and "Hitler" was mockingly chanted in the streets by masked men.

"I never thought I would see this hatred again in my lifetime, not in Sweden anyway," Mrs Popinski told The Sunday Telegraph.
"This new hatred comes from Muslim immigrants. The Jewish people are afraid now.""

And you wonder why Israel fights so hard.

And you wonder why Israel fights so hard.
If their treatment of the people who lived their prior is the cause of todays persecution then perhaps they should decrease the killings instead of increasing them. Israel already indicated they have more enemies than Gaza, perhaps they will always have an enemy, after all even God ditched them for awhile.
