If the parties were students in a classroom - the NDP would be the geeks, the Cons are the jocks and the Liberals would be the guy that just gets by cheating off of other classmates.

The funny thing is that there isn't really much about Mulcair's campaign that says his foreign policy is favourable for one side or another. I'm sure he can't be anywhere near the j00 worship the Cons are doling out though.
