What is this? Israel just bypasses the WH and State Dept and gets weapons directly from Pentagon?

Gaza Crisis: Israel Outflanks the White House on Strategy

White House Now Scrutinizing Israeli Requests for Ammunition

JERUSALEM—White House and State Department officials who were leading U.S. efforts to rein in Israel's military campaign in the Gaza Strip were caught off guard last month when they learned that the Israeli military had been quietly securing supplies of ammunition from the Pentagon without their approval.

Since then the Obama administration has tightened its control on arms transfers to Israel. But Israeli and U.S. officials say that the adroit bureaucratic maneuvering made it plain how little influence the White House...

You have to be in danger to claim self defence. Even keeping the monet from agriculture in the Golan Heights is a war crime. They are not based on what you would have them be. Hamas would win more than it loses at the ICC where the US can't veto anything.

Israel has nothing to fear form the ICC.

It's like a teenager, wanting to drive your car for the first time, he has to prove he is responsible enough to drive the car... maybe a bad analogy. Not trying to equate Palestinians as teenagers, but maybe better then what I have called them in the past. ;)
Let me guess, accident free for a year (or 10 in the case of Gaza) before you will let them start to drive. Who is going to give them all the money they are owed. Say $100B for openers.

Who say's they are owed squat.. Israel gives them aid, they spend it on bombs and tunnels.

I would say, live in peace for 3 years.. you get a country.

But that's is a dream, because there is no peace for Hamas.. they don't want that.

Luckily your offer is not binding on them. Do you even know how Israel followed through on the other ceasefire. Say there is one for 6 months and the border is to be opened so Israel stalls for 5 1/2 months, opens it for a week and creates a false flag to close it even tighter before the 6 month period is up and then they claim Hamas broke it. I thought you were trying to get away from dreams.

... but maybe better then what I have called them in the past. ;)
Let's see you not curse at them for 3 years before I take that as 'gospel'. Any slip and the clock resets for the full 3 years.

Idle chit-chat when you could be doing your country right?
Clearly the lad was an immediate threat. It is videos that will make the ICC bend in the unusual way.
IDF Film Sniping Children Playing on Rooftop in Gaza - YouTube

Interesting, I blew it up. Those are mighty big children, and if you go frame by frame they have something on a tri-pod.. could be a gun.

It's an unfortunate fact, but Hamas likes to use children. Hitting the guy in the leg vs killing him..

I would have shot to kill, because that is what you're suppose to do. They have given up their position as a sniper and they can now shoot back.

I'll bet you did, Colpy would have some stills printed up.
When people are playing with a ball they are children. War Crimes must be a fear way down deep if you can't admit to this being attempted murder.
Why a dead man only take one to duty him, if that. a wounded man takes up the energy of 6 people. Are you now trained to lie about tactics? Nobody has believed stuff like that since the rescue attempt by the US for it's people in Iran. Forgot to put on the air-cleaners was the cover story for a completely failed mission.
Which was he , Hamas with no child in sight or a child with no Hamas in sight?

That is why Russia pushing one ahead for the Ukraine is what will 'break the ice' for such trial and the evidence aren't a long list lf liars paraded on stage but it would be video clips and other media that can be verified as being authentic. Gaza has enough 'material' to be in court for a decade or more. Things like the event below would be much more 'dramatic' when the stories of what conditions were like because Kiev stopped the aid while not suppliying anything similar themselves. Get enough of those and the vote next time won't be for a pro-west Gov.

BEIT LAHIYA, Gaza Strip — The group of neighbours surveyed the destruction wreaked on their residential complex by Israeli bombardment, with building after building flattened or punctured by shells. The men then began to voice something almost never heard out loud in Gaza: criticism of its Hamas rulers.
Exhausted by a month of pounding by Israel’s military — on top of seven years of stifling closure of the tiny Mediterranean coastal strip — they questioned Hamas’ handling of the crisis and the wisdom of repeatedly going to war with Israel.
“We do not want to be bombarded every two or three years. We want to lead a good life: Sleep well, drink well and eat well,” said Ziad Rizk, a 37-year-old father of two, a cigarette dangling from his mouth. He stared at the damaged apartment building where he lived. His sofa and a blue baby carriage were perched precariously on a tilting concrete slab that was his floor.
It is impossible to say how widespread such discontent is among Gaza’s 1.8 million residents. Under Hamas rule, it’s rare and dangerous to share even as much as a hint of criticism of the government with outsiders.

...and I can't see why they can't have both.

First Hamas must provide the olive branch, no more killing. Then the UN and Israel should give Palestine sovereignty. After they prove they can be peaceful.

No more killing? Isn't that onus on the IDF? You know the group that just slaughtered over a thousand citizens?

Did you watch Copy's video. Screw the 1900 dead, what about the 200,000 in Syria, what about the other million dead and the hands of the barbarous Muslims in Iraq??

Oh, I guess that is A-OK, that was done by Muslims in the name of Islam..

Next time bury your head a little deeper in the sand.
