They spoke and they were ignored. They spoke again, and they were ignored.
But something made them speak up one more time, and finally, they were heard.
In an astonishing piece published Sunday night by New York Magazine, 35 brave women who have come forward to accuse comedian Bill Cosby of decades-long alleged sexual assaults, revealed explicit details of each individual encounter.
The profiling piece, which perhaps provided a cathartic medium for their experiences to be heard by millions of people, runs over 3,000 words. Collected below are a few of the more eye-opening testimonies.
“The door opens, and there stands Cosby. He’s in his sweats and very casual, very friendly. I had a monologue prepared. He seemed unimpressed. He said, ‘Let’s try a cold read,’ so he pulls out a script. The scene was set in a bar; the character was someone who was inebriated. He poured a glass of white wine. And he said, use this as a prop — now, that means you’re going to have to sip on it, of course. I really don’t remember much, except waking up in his bedroom. He was naked, and he was forcing himself into my mouth.” -Heidi Thomas, 55. Alleged assault occurred in 1984.
“I sat down, and lay my head back, just fighting nausea. I looked around and he was sitting next to my roommate on the love seat with this very predatory look on his face. She was completely unconscious. I could hear the words in my head, but I couldn’t form words with my mouth, because I was so drugged out. He got up and came over, and he sat down and unzipped his fly. He had me give him oral sex, and then he stood me up, turned me over, did me doggy style, and walked out. Just as he got to the door, I said, ‘How do we get out of here, how do we get home?’ And he said, ‘Call a cab.’” -Victoria Valentino, 72. Alleged assault took place in 1969.
I felt like a prisoner; I felt I was kidnapped and hiding in plain sight. I could have walked down any street of Manhattan at any time and said, ‘I’m being raped and drugged by Bill Cosby,’ but who the hell would have believed me? Nobody, nobody.” -Barbara Bowman, 48. Alleged assaults took place between 1985 and 1987.

America's Dad now America's Rapist. Most public people die long before their images see this level of destruction

Everyone has their foibles and every celeb has their secret weaknesses. Being a serial rapist, though, drugging and raping dozens of women should land him in a penitentiary for just about ever if their system actually works.

I'd like to say "innocent until proven guilty" but 35 women is almost as convincing as 40 million Frenchmen! :)

Those are the thirty five who are brave enough to go public like this. Indications are that there are far more victims than that. Yes, he is innocent until proven guilty but it seems that these allegations have come up before and Cosby had bought his way free. That two tiered "justice system" gives the rich and famous the upper hand over the poor and anonymous. Where are the State procecutors? Is there some statute of limitations at work in the US that is going to let him go free in most of these cases?

No one has ever accused Clinton of drugging young women and raping them. There is no hint of that kind of behavior. What Cosby is being accused of is criminal assault, not merely of serial adultery.

Yep, the difference between being a predator and an opportunist!

isn't it funny how right wingers bring up Clinton's name but conveniently forget "moralist" Gingrich's name in this regard

Sexual-assault accuser says Cosby didn't realize she was gay
Steve Gorman, REUTERS First posted: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 09:42 PM EDT | Updated: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 09:52 PM EDT
LOS ANGELES - The woman battling Bill Cosby to make public a 2006 settlement of her sexual-assault complaint against him said in court documents on Tuesday that she is a lesbian, despite his sworn assertions that their encounter was consensual and he has a knack for reading women's cues.
The revelation by Andrea Constand, a former Temple University employee who has alleged the comedian tricked her into taking drugs before assaulting her in 2004, came in a legal memorandum filed in federal court in Philadelphia.
In it, Constand's lawyers argue that Cosby, 78, breached the confidentiality clause of their settlement through a series of public comments by his attorneys as they mounted a media campaign seeking to put his "spin" on the widening scandal.
Her attorneys contend Constand's only recourse is for the judge to unseal the settlement and free her of the confidentiality restrictions so she can defend her reputation.
Cosby's legal team has been fighting to keep the entire case under seal.
His lawyers took to the airwaves last week after excerpts from a sworn deposition he gave 10 years ago were recently made public, including his statements about being adept at deciphering sexual cues.
Explaining why he viewed his sexual encounter with Constand as consensual, Cosby recounted that his accuser had not appeared angry afterward.
"I think that I'm a pretty decent reader of people and their emotions in these romantic sexual things, whatever you want to call them," he said in the excerpt, published by the New York Times.
Striking a sardonic tone, Constand's lawyers fired back at that assertion in her latest court filing, saying, "despite his talent for interpreting female reactions to him, (Cosby) did not realize (Constand) was gay until the police told him."
More than 40 women have come forward during the past year to accuse Cosby of having raped or molested them after plying them with drugs or alcohol in incidents dating back decades.
Cosby, who faces at least four pending civil suits stemming from such complaints, as well as a criminal investigation by Los Angeles police, has never been charged. He and his lawyers, while acknowledging marital infidelity on Cosby's part, have consistently denied allegations of sexual misconduct.
Cosby, whose career has been left in shambles by the scandal, has repeatedly insisted through his lawyers that nothing in the deposition excerpts represents an admission of anything but consensual sex and recreational drug use.

Bill Cosby faces sexual assault accusations from more women

Embattled comedian Bill Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by another three women.
Actress Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer, teacher Eden Tirl and former stewardess Colleen Hughes claim their encounters with Cosby took place in the 1970s and 1980s - and, as such, like the comic's other 30-plus accusers the statute of limitations on their allegations has run out, and they cannot seek a court trial.
But, talking to the media on Wednesday, Ridgeway Whitedeer claims The Cosby Show star took advantage of her in 1971, recalling he sat her down for an interview in an office and allegedly blocked the door with his body to prevent anyone from coming in.
She alleges, "I felt Cosby's left hand gently grab my long hair behind my head... As I looked up his ***** was out of his pants and he shoved it in my mouth.
"When Cosby was done there were a horrible mess of semen all over my face, my clothes and in my hair... He was mumbling that I had been blessed with his semen as if it was holy water."
The second accuser, Tirl, was also an actress who first met Cosby when she was a guest star on his hit sitcom in the late 1980s.
Now a teacher in Los Angeles, she claims she was invited to have lunch with comedian in his dressing room, when he whispered in her ear, 'See, this is all we were going to do, make love. This is making love'."
Hughes was a stewardess for American Airlines in the early 1970s when she came face-to-face with Cosby during a flight to Los Angeles, after which he reportedly invited her to his hotel room, where she claims he drugged and sexually assaulted her.
Hughes alleges, "It was disgusting. Bill obviously did not use a condom. I was confused and ashamed and never told anyone about what happened."
She recalls that a year later, Cosby was on her flight once again, and when she confronted him about the alleged assault, he asked if she had reported the incident, and when she admitted she had not, he told her no one would believe her claims against the revered entertainer.
The three new accusers were joined by California attorney Gloria Allred who also represents 21 other women who have come forward with rape, sexual assault and inappropriate behaviour claims against Cosby since last summer.
Cosby has never been charged with any crime relating to the accusations, but he has been ordered to give a deposition in October over allegations he molested a woman at the Playboy Mansion in 1975.

Black Ohio college removes Bill Cosby's name from building

A historically black college in southwest Ohio says it is permanently removing the name of comedian Bill Cosby from its communications building.

In a statement Friday, Central State University in Wilberforce says the Camille O. & William H. Cosby Communications Center has been renamed the CSU Communications Center. The school had been temporarily covering Cosby’s name since July while it made a final decision.

The Cosby family has donated more than $2 million to the university.

Central State President Cynthia Jackson-Hammond had called circumstances surrounding the comedian’s situation “troublesome and disappointing to all.”

...and many girls admitted they requested the drugs to mix with bozz.

They admitted to not forcibly taking the drugs, and also coming back for more on other occasions and well as getting paid.

Today they have a word for that, prostitute, wh*re, sl*t.. which kind'a sums up my opinion of them.. money hungry lying wh*res.

You can't change a zebra's stripes, no matter how much money you toss at them. ;) Trust me, I've dated a few strippers.. well more than a few.
Just back long enough to say, I told you so!! Dirty old men never change and it seems they start fairly early in life. Praying on those those who by circumstances or early experiences have little self worth, and are naive. Many of those Cosby preyed on were probably not professionals, but those who go with strippers, prostitutes are as bad. They are persons who take advantage of those who have little self-worth or means of support......like a profession, education, or skill..

Oh well some men are not ruled by their brains only their dicks.

Bill Cosby might be headed to trial

http://ktla.com/2015/07/23/californ...n-judith-huth-case-to-proceed-at-trial-level/

Since he has been at it for so long, time has expired for many of the 36 so far victims that have come forward. However, the way is open now for civil trials. Some took polygraph tests and while not admissible because so many have managed to learn how to beat them, and passed. On one of the pages I posted, there are quite a number of articles listed the admission made by Cosby.
