I have been aware of this for some time. Close to where I live there are two camps, complete with guard towers, barbed wire, flood lights etc,. just sitting in the woods. They are being maintained but aren't being used - yet. I have no idea what they are for but they scared the hell out of an ex military friend of mine.

Thanks again Scott Free i was starting to think im wasting my time trying to inform people about this (lone wolf and i think not) really got up my nose with there nit picking about the towers and such like im glad there are people around with enough intelligence to see that these things are going on and that unless more people know about it and try to do something god knows what though.!!! they will keep adding more and more laws bills and other things to prevent you and i from ever living in a civilised world again some call it NWO and stuff but that just conjures up more conspiracy tales and hides the very fact that these things are happening now under your noses or behind your backs m8:lol:

Once a person realizes that authority - any authority, is based on violence; this is to say conformity is violence. Democracy only ensures the majority of voters will not have to conform, i.e., be victimized. Democracy does not ensure such things for the minorities; it need only promise such things. It then becomes easier to see how democracy is exploitable.
People that can't believe these things could happen are generally, in my experience, pretty good people themselves and that's why they can't see it.
The same thing happened with Hitler. Few could imagine the horror he plotted. He even, IMO, outlined his plan in Mein Kampf, but still the majority of people couldn't see it. A few people did and tried to raise the alarm only to be rounded up. Others saw it and decided to join in.
The writing is just as much on the wall today as it was back then and the same people can't see it.
People are a cross species of lemmings and apes IMO and not much better off than either.

Maybe, but sincerity is a rare thing in this world; many people are not capable of it. In such a place it is a weakness. If you changed the spin, made your message such that they can't imagine themselves winning, then you might make a dent. Right now your opponents probably agree with you except they envision themselves prospering because of the things your saying. Not being sincere, they can't admit that, so they launch denials but happily imagine how life would be better if you were right. This is the dynamic for most of the horrible things we do and have done since invading this continent. We kill the Indians, say we didn't kill them and even if we did so what? They were bad; then happily settle their land. We wanted the land in the beginning. The people who argue with you mostly just want land.

The Republicans and their Neocon, media and religious fundamentalist allies have put together one of the most effective political attack and coverup machines in American history. Not only that...they have successfully used taxpayer-funded propaganda to manipulate public opinion to make it appear both credible and ethical during a 'time of war'. Let's give credit where it's due: these guys are good at what they do. But this attack and plausible deniability machine doesn't work exclusively for the Right. It also works to the benefit of the New Democrats and anyone else that supports the Neocon Agenda or helps in obstructing investigations into Bush White House fraud and corruption.
There was Watergate in the 70s, Iran/Contra in the 80s and Sexgate in the 90s. All were centered around investigations and hearings into abuse of power by the executive branch. But after the 2000 election the very institutions that kept an eye on our White House and made them accountable to the rule of law and the people seemed to go out of business.
What happened after 2000 to cause such a radical change in the American political and justice systems? What happened to Constitutional checks and balances? Investigative journalism? To the Democratic party? How is it that Bush & Gang was able to steal the 2000 election in plain view, allow 9-11 to happen on their watch without being held accountable and then become virtually untouchable by the 'rule of law'?
The answer to this question goes beyond the American Corporate Media and a weak opposition that seemingly remains helpless as long as they're in the minority. The New Democratic Coalition is actively working (behind the scenes) with the Bush government to keep the American people in the dark about the loss of civil liberties, election fraud, illegal wars, government corruption and war profiteering.

Prison Camps have been with us since WW2. Many are being renovated, new ones being built -- today -- in times of peace. I don't like the sound of this. An introduction to this issue is presented, along with some startling figures.

It may be in here that the President hides his most strongest powers, such as setting aside the American Congress in Hitler fashion. This is another law that should be revealed to us people by Congress. If not, a serious reason will be needed.
It is of significance to note that once the President declares martial law, Congress and the Courts are helpless. We are under total dictatorship. This is the sum of my research thus far. I find it unconstitutional, but it will be tough to stop. For that reason I have presented Congress with an emergency off switch called NES-Off. This will reserve power to Congress to stop the President should Congress disagree.

Prison Camps have been with us since WW2. Many are being renovated, new ones being built -- today -- in times of peace. I don't like the sound of this. An introduction to this issue is presented, along with some startling figures.

It may be in here that the President hides his most strongest powers, such as setting aside the American Congress in Hitler fashion. This is another law that should be revealed to us people by Congress. If not, a serious reason will be needed.
It is of significance to note that once the President declares martial law, Congress and the Courts are helpless. We are under total dictatorship. This is the sum of my research thus far. I find it unconstitutional, but it will be tough to stop. For that reason I have presented Congress with an emergency off switch called NES-Off. This will reserve power to Congress to stop the President should Congress disagree.
