I had the pleasure of being an Arab and a Canadian. So I know both cultures and I have no preconceived ideas. You, on the other hand have a tendency of hating Arabs. It is all over your posts. Don't forget what the US did to the Arabs and don't blame all Arabs for what they are doing in return. I don't think you even had an Arab friend. Until you befriend them, keep quiet.

Don't presume to tell me that I hate ANYONE. One thing I do not have tolerance for is being called a bastard for telling the truth. I don't care what your heritage is, if you choose not to accept the truth about a tragic situation, then keep it to yourself rather than hurling insults. Don't think I am going to hold back telling you how ignorant you sound just because you have an Arab background my friend. I call it as I see it and your overreaction is uncalled for.

It's all the context of how you said what you said. You basically made it sound like everyone up in Canada was pretty much cold and uncaring, and that you or your friend went around and saw arabs celebrating(the taxi driver, the people at the gas station).

I really don't give an f to what you are saying anymore because you are a onesided SOB that can't seem to feel what other people go through. What is important to you is only you. I have no time for your ilk.

matty....... with due respect , you are pushing things a bit too far, inciting anger at you , and not listening to anyone but yourself.

You can bash all you like, inflame all you like.......and then no one will bother reading your posts.

Possibly, but these are two things that really happened. The taxi thing was on the news -- at the airport. Of course I don;t think all Arabs were celebrating -- hardly! I actually dated a muslim woman shorly afterthe event and we talked in depth about it. I like hearing the ME perspective on things, but I also know when people behave like asses I am am not going to stand by and keep my mouth shut just because they happen to be Arab.

You have he right to speak the truth when you have one to speak of. When you twist facts with lies, people start calling you a bastard. You earn respect, matty. You don't get it for free.

Mog, don't let him get to you. what he is doing is out of bounds according to the rules........INCITING people to anger and then he can turn around and laugh at them. or condemn them. He is setting you and anyone here up so he can come back at them and then make sick claims of being the only right one.

this is SICK behavior.

Do not feed the troll.

discuss with reasonable posters only......and ignore this nonsense.---not worth the aggravation or time spent trying to discuss very important issues.

Well, there's alot of idiots in this world. I still think that the context you used those examples in was either bad timing or un-needed because I think I remember that I said something about in some areas there were people celebrating in the middle east, at least according to the news, and then moghrabi said something about how that was a few(I'm paraphrasing)and that most people don't feel that way, and then you came around with these lines about how Canadians didn't really seem to care(could have been before that, it was a while ago)and how some arabs acted. It was just didn't come off good.
