Bibi got caught funding Hamas. Apparently that backfired eh?
Hugely. Benjamin Netanyahu did not directly transfer funds from his own pocket or the Israeli treasury to Hamas. However, he did implement a long-term policy of facilitating and approving the transfer of millions of dollars in Qatari cash into the Gaza Strip, which was governed by Hamas. Beginning around 2018, Netanyahu allowed Qatari envoys to bring suitcases filled with millions of dollars in cash through Israeli checkpoints into Gaza.

Netanyahu argued that allowing these funds into Gaza was necessary to prevent a humanitarian collapse.

After the October 7, 2023, attacks, this policy faced intense scrutiny, with critics arguing that the money, intended for civilian salaries and aid, was instead used by Hamas to build up its military infrastructure. In hindsight, it was a horrible decision, but it did happen nonetheless. It’s something that Bibi has had wear & own publicly, as has been pointed out here often.

That video…is from 8 months ago, so like late June of 2025. What about something from 2026?

I have said this before and I’ll say it again, to claim a ‘victory,’ the IRGC just has to survive in place until April Fools Day.

Based on reports from the first week of March 2026, Iranian attacks on Israel have shown limited operational success due to a high rate of interception by Israeli and U.S. air defenses, though they have succeeded in causing casualties, damaging civilian infrastructure, and creating significant psychological pressure. Despite high interception rates, Iranian strikes have caused fatalities. Reports indicate at least 11 deaths in Israel and hundreds injured as of early March. Dozens of buildings in Tel Aviv were damaged by falling shrapnel.

What of Tehran? Even Al Jazeera is saying:

Based on reports and satellite imagery as of early March 2026, there are confirmed and reported strikes on U.S. Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) radar systems in the Middle East during the ongoing conflict with Iran.

Jordan (Confirmed Damage): Satellite imagery from early March 2026 confirms that a $300 million AN/TPY-2 radar—a critical component of the THAAD system—was destroyed or heavily damaged at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.
UAE/Gulf (Reported Strikes): Reports indicate that another THAAD system radar was targeted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Additionally, a separate early-warning radar system (AN/FPS-132) in Qatar was also reported destroyed.
Impact: The destruction of these radar systems is considered a "significant blow" to U.S. air defense capabilities in the region, causing a potential "systemic collapse" of the integrated defense network. This forces a higher reliance on Patriot systems, which are facing shortages.

The U.S. has only eight THAAD batteries globally, making the loss of radar components, which are essential for directing the launchers, critical to operations

Based on reports from early March 2026, Iranian missile and drone strikes have significantly strained and, in some instances, breached United States Patriot air defense systems in the Middle East, leading to damage at key installations, including Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Key Findings:
Operational Strain & Failures: Multiple reports indicate that Patriot systems failed to intercept incoming Iranian ballistic missiles in the Gulf region, with specific instances of intercepted salvos failing to connect.

Damage Reported: Satellite imagery has indicated "major damage" to US military infrastructure at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar following Iranian attacks.

System Overload: Iran's strategy of using synchronized, high-volume waves of drones and ballistic missiles has been described as an effort to overwhelm the "layered" defense, causing shortages in interceptor stockpiles, which were already low due to usage in Ukraine.

Strategic Vulnerability: Analysis suggests that while Patriot systems remain active, their efficiency has been tested by supersonic missiles (up to Mach 13) and saturation tactics, creating "blind spots" in defense coverage.

Note: The situation in the region is rapidly evolving, with ongoing, conflicting reports regarding the exact percentage of operational damage and the effectiveness of air defense, as of March 2026.
