Iran to free sailors as 'gift' to British people

Why lame? As far as their country is concerned they were heros who captured 15 enemy soldiers.
Of course they had to celebrate the capture it was good propaganda for them. We may not agree with it but if the tables had been turned we might have done the same thing.

Now what we need if for the US to back-off. They have been spoiling for a fight with Iran ever since they were thrown out of the country.

Then there will be a possibility for peace.

You can call thr Iranian President anything you want be he sure isn't stupid. He showed the British they were powerless in that region and he also made the US eat it's "Raiding Party" words too. I'm hopeful all will end well. I admit, this move surprised our part of the world. It sure took the steam out of the White House war drums. Later we will find out the truth and what it really cost both the US and Britain. Most of thse Persian Gulf government leaders want no part of our version of democracy and they don't want any potential civil wars on their hands either. I think most of them thumb their nose at our government but are doing so behind closed doors so we can't see it. That US foreign aid monies are nice for a leader to count on for a vaction on the Riviera or to purchase Russian or Chinese produced weaponry..
