I confess.......

I didn't read the article, just the thread title.........and I went off half-cocked.

Please forgive my stupidity all, and ignore the above post....

This is a stroke of genius by Iran, and may even mean something.....IF the Americans get the contract.

S'OK......... exactly.!! You captured the cleverness of that proposal.

You see it does not matter if the US accepts this offer... as what it does is deflates anything the US would have to say about Irans' nuke plans and capabilities.. They have turned the tables on the Bushregime..

CBC News
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stirred up international controversy Wednesday with a speech calling the Holocaust a "myth."

Ahmadinejad said the myth has been created by Europeans to create a Jewish state in the heart of the Islamic world.

Maybe I'll type this slow:

Iranian government= evil, brutal, immoral.

Bush administration= evil, brutal, immoral AND in violation of Geneva Conventions.

Iran's position on Bush= correct.

Iran STILL=evil, brutal, immoral.

See how none of these things is mutually exclusive?

Your analysis above still makes Iran a better place (government) than the US since you stated that the US is in violation of Geneva convention and that Iran's position on Bush is correct. That makes 2 points for Iran againsts the US.

Geez guys, I can't type any slower.

Does "1+1=2" cease to be true because Stalin said it? Are you really so dense that truth can only be spoken by people you admire?

Every claim must be investigated on its own merits.

Charles Manson is American and Nelson Mandela is South African.

By MMMike's "logic", I should trust Manson because I'd rather live in Boston then in Johannesburg.

Well MMMike, I'm starting to understand where you get your ideas.

Actually, Mike, the "slow" part was not for you specifically.

You get the Manson one just for you. :p

OK, I'll park my indignation for now. By the way:

Iranian government= evil, brutal, immoral, oppresses their own people, not real fun loving guys.

Bush administration= evil, brutal, immoral AND in violation of Geneva Conventions.

See, 5 against 4. We win, we win! :p I'm a master debater as you can see.

I am happy where I am. I made a decision awhile back not to enter the US for any reason whatsoever. I buy as much as "made in Canada or made in Zimbabwe" as possible as not to give my hard earned money to your government and then use it to kill innocent people or start another illegal war.

BTW. Your ambassador to Canada had the balls to open his mouth and criticize us. Maybe next time, he should be kicked out of Canada. How more arrogant can you guys be?

I don't know what's scarier: that the president of a brutal, oppressive regime is taking the high ground in a moral debate with the president of the US, or that he, in fact, actually does have the moral high ground.

Actually, I lied, I do know. The second one.

Canada can avoid complicity with Iran's crimes. We can't avoid complicity with the war criminals to the South. :(
