And the Zionist conspircay theory continous.

Ack run for the hills, the Zionists are coming the Zionists are coming!!!

What about the Islamophobes there gopher???

As I thought, baseless accusations. Then you wonder why people question your grasp of reality, right before you report their post.

It is quite confusing how you can spend a week following me from thread to thread poking my ancestry and race. Calling on me to go south and murder people, but I call into question your hyper-analysed liniage and poof, off you go to report my post. You have questioned my grasp of reality, called me a 'know nothing revisionist', a reicht winger, neo con, etc, I challenge your grasp on reality and poof, off you go to report my post.

I see a failing here, you can dish it out, but you can't take it. How childish. Set a standard and stick to it. Flipping and flopping on what is acceptable as it suits you, only goes to show your level of hypocracy.

Don't you think we are pretty much the same? Don't we live now in a time and place that is turning Muslims into the new Communists/Nazis/ Fascists of the day? How much longer until we have public witch hunts for terrorists?

Unfortunately for the majority of Muslims who are peace loving and law abiding, it is the extremist Muslims who turned the Muslim community into something other races and communities suspect. You can hardly blame those who were attacked.......just like those victims of violent crime who don't trust your 80 year old grandfather who's walking behind them.....just because he's walking behind them, or the rape victim who doesn't trust men...just because they're men...or the palastinians who don't trust the Israelis (or vice versa) because of the awful things that go on in that part of the world.

The bottom line here is that it is not Iranian children that are being taught to hate. Instead, based on what is a completely bogus article published by the Murdoch owned SUN newspaper and based on the site that I have provided above, it is Israeli children who are being taught to hate because of the lies being spread by the CFMIP!

What a whole bunch of hogwash!!!!!!! I would agree that some Israeli children may "hate" as you say, but you don't see Isreali children parading around as trainee suicide bombers. Do you really think that those children who are training to be Jihadists "love' the Israelis? If you do, you are more stupid than I thought.
The truth is, you don't think that ...you know that many Islamist children (whether it be Iranian, Syrian or Palastinian children) are taught to HATE the Israelis...but you don't want to go there as you have your own agenda and anything that may portray the Israeli's as any sort of victim in this unfortunate time in Middle East history would simply not fit into that agenda.

That's bullsh*t and shows how stupid YOU are.

If you bothered to do your homework rather than to allow your prejudices to cloud your limited thinking facultes, you would know that JIHADISTS ARE SUNNI MUSLIMS, NOT SHIIA. Iran is strictly Shiia whose law forbids children in combat. Therefore, Iranians children cannot be trained to be Jihadi suicide bombers as you claim. Obviously, you do not know what the hell you are talking about. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IT IS TRUE.

For those whose limited ingenuity still makes them believe that Jihadists are Shiia when, in fact, they are strictly, Sunni and therefore are not Iranian, see the following:

Now genius, show me where it says that Iran is Sunni and therefore Jihadist. While you're at it, show me how that obviously forged photograph of a child holding a RPGL wronghandedly is an Iranian 'Jihadist'.

Description: Radical Shia group formed in Lebanon; dedicated to creation of Iranian-style Islamic republic in Lebanon and removal of all non-Islamic influences from the area. Strongly anti-West and anti-Israel. Closely allied with, and often directed by, Iran but may have conducted operations that were not approved by Tehran.
Activities: Known or suspected to have been involved in numerous anti-US terrorist attacks, including the suicide truck bombing of the US Embassy and US Marine barracks in Beirut in October 1983 and the US Embassy annex in Beirut in September 1984. Elements of the group were responsible for the kidnapping and detention of US and other Western hostages in Lebanon. The group also attacked the Israeli Embassy in Argentina in 1992.
Strength: Several thousand.
Location/Area of Operation: Operates in the Bekaa Valley, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and southern Lebanon. Has established cells in Europe, Africa, South America, North America, and elsewhere. External Aid: Receives substantial amounts of financial, training, weapons, explosives, political, diplomatic, and organizational aid from Iran and Syria.

I suggest you had better go and tell those Iranians not to use the word "JIHAD" because apparently according to you they are not supposed to be using it.

Iran: We supplied Zelzal-2 to Hizbullah
By JPOST.COM STAFF AND YAAKOV KATZ

Iran admitted for the first time on Friday that it did indeed supply long-range Zelzal-2 missiles to Hizbullah.
Secretary-general of the "Intifada conference" Mohtashami Pur told an Iranian newspaper that Iran transferred the missiles so that they could be used to defend Lebanon, Channel 1 reported.
WAR IN THE NORTH: DAY 24
The extent of Iran's intimate involvement in Hizbullah attacks is starting to emerge.
According to the defense establishment, the reason Hizbullah has not fired long-range Iranian-made Fajr missiles at Israel is due to Teheran's opposition. Israel now understands that without direct orders from the ayatollahs, Hizbullah is not allowed to use Iranian missiles in attacks against Israel.
The IDF also believes that it seriously damaged the long-range rocket array in the first night of air strikes almost three weeks ago and impaired Hizbullah's ability to fire the rockets. The longer-range Zelzal missiles, manufactured by Iran and capable of reaching Tel Aviv, have also not been fired at Israel, and the IDF believes this is because it destroyed almost two-thirds of these in the Hizbullah arsenal.
I don't have to show where it says anything about Iran being Sunni, but it doesn't take a rocket sceintist (so wer're safe, because you obviously aren't one!) to google Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah or the Islamic Jihad Organisation to find out they stem from Iran and have Iranian government backing.

Iran: Jihadists can now apply online

A state-organised group which avowedly trains suicide bombers against “Western infidels and Zionists” has launched a new website to recruit volunteers, Iran Focus has learnt.
The website has been set up by the Headquarters to Commemorate Martyrs of the Global Islamic Movement, an organisation set up by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in 2004.
Those who join are given three choices: To carry out suicide attacks against “the infidels occupying Iraq”, against Israel, or against Salman Rushdie.
The organisation now claims to have enlisted 53,900 people to carry out “martyrdom-seeking operations”.
The website, www.esteshhad.com, has an online application where candidates can sign up to become suicide volunteers and receive training to carry out attacks on the West. READ MORE

Applicants are asked to fill out the boxes for their name, email, date of birth, city, mobile number, and their reason for wanting to become suicide volunteers. A note on the side of the form says that once the application has been filled out and sent online, a representative from the group will contact the volunteer to enrol him in one of the “lovers of martyrdom garrisons”.
Other features include a biography and photo gallery section of newly-subscribed suicide bombers.
Its Arabic section which will be aimed at recruiting foreign terrorists will soon be launched.
A recent article on the site says that the group recently recruited 1,900 new bombers.
“1,900 demonstrators in the great rally on Friday by people angry at the tragedy which destroyed the shrine of the Imams Hadi and al-Askari enrolled in the martyrdom-seeking garrisons of the Headquarters to Commemorate Martyrs of the Global Islamic Movement”, the website reported.
In the past, government spokesmen have tried to distance themselves from the organisation, but the group regularly uses buildings and other facilities belonging to the government and state institutions. Many officials, lawmakers, and commanders of the Revolutionary Guards have spoken in support of the group.

Iran schools feed pupils "war curriculum" - report
Tue 30 Jan 2007 17:09:41 GMT
By Mark John

BRUSSELS, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Iran's schools are nurturing a siege mentality in children with textbooks showing preparations for war and depicting Israel and the West as the enemy, an Israel-based think tank said on Tuesday.

One textbook gave 13-year-olds a basic overview of light arms while one early reader book depicted the murder of a Palestinian toddler by an Israeli soldier, a survey by the Center for Monitoring the Impact of Peace (CMIP) found.

"Iran's war curriculum is a danger to the world's peace and security. This is the way the books develop a siege mentality in the minds of the students," CMIP director of research Arnon Groiss told a news conference in Brussels.

CMIP has produced surveys of school material in Pakistan and the Palestinian Authority and said its survey of 115 textbooks published in Iran in 2004 was the first of its kind.

Groiss said all the textbooks were underpinned by the belief that Iran was a world power preparing for global "jihad", or holy struggle, with the aim of world dominance of Islam.

"This has been a structural component of the Iranian regime since (the Islamic Revolution in) 1979. It is not a product of (Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad," he said of Iran's firebrand president who has called for the destruction of Israel.

Stories and poems aimed at primary school-age children hailed martyrs killed in defence of their country and faith, such as those who died in the 1980 to 1988 war with Iraq, with one illustrated with a rainbow dripping with martyr's blood.

Akbar Nabavi, an Iranian war veteran and now documentary maker, said the report was intended to misrepresent Iran.

"The American nation respects its soldiers and their cause though they are being killed in a foreign land (Iraq), thousands of miles from home," he said. "Why shouldn't we commemorate the sacrifice of our martyrs killed defending their country and their faith?"

MILITARY TACTICS

Groiss highlighted one passage in a reading book for eight-year-olds:

"At that time the Israeli officer pounded (three-year-old) Mohammed's head with his rifle stock and his warm blood was sprinkled upon his (six-year-old) brother Khaled's hands."

Another picture book for 10-year-olds showed veiled girls carrying rifles while material for 13-year-olds provided a basic acquaintance with weaponry, explosives and military tactics.

Israel was consistently referred to as "the regime that occupies Jerusalem" and marked out on maps as "Occupied Palestine". The United States was the "Great Satan", the "World Devourer" or the "Arrogant One".

Despite official opposition to the U.S. government, many Iranians remain sympathetic to the American people and held spontaneous vigils to show support for them after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

Groiss acknowledged he had no recent information on the influence the textbooks were having on Iranian children.

While the concept of martyrdom is central to the Shi'ite Islam which is predominant in Iran, no Iranians are thought to have directly executed suicide bombings in recent years.

However, one Iranian group, which insists it has no government affiliation, says it has signed up thousands of would-be martyrs to target U.S. or British interests if Iran was attacked over its nuclear programme.

School trains suicide bombers

A boy draws himself with explosives tied to his body

By Jeremy Cooke in Gaza
The Islamic Jihad is running a summer school - to teach boys the benefits of becoming suicide bombers.
A new generation of children, Palestinian boys aged between 12 and 15 years old, is growing up amid conflict and violence.
Teacher Mohammed el Hattab: Suicide bombers go to the highest state in paradise

The militant group has a sworn mission to wage a holy war against Israel.
The boys are told not only that it is good to kill, but also that it is good to die.
They learn that suicide bomb attacks have proved the most deadly way to hit the Israelis.
Part of the revolution
Mohammed, a 14-year-old boy, draws himself with explosives strapped to his body, ready to blow himself to pieces if it means killing Jews.
"Yes," he says, when asked if he wants to be a suicide bomber. "I want to liberate Palestine and be part of the revolution."
The boys are told that it is good to kill and good to die

The boys are shown pictures of those who have already died in the conflict with Israel.
They are taught that to give their lives is to be guaranteed a place in heaven.
And to be a suicide bomber is one of the highest forms of martyrdom.
They will be greeted in paradise by 70 virgins.
"We are teaching the children that suicide bombing is the only thing that make the Israeli people very frightened. Furthermore, we are teaching them that we have the right to do it," said Islamic Jihad member Mohammed el Hattab, one of the teachers on the programme.
"We are teaching them that after the suicide attacks, the man who makes it goes to the highest state in paradise," he said.

Israelis appalled
For the Israelis all of this is appalling.
They say it is clear evidence that a new generation is being brought up to hate and to kill and they are demanding that it must stop.
Limor Livnat: Poisoned minds lead to violence

Israeli Education Minister Limor Livnat told the BBC: "Poisoned pens make poisoned minds, and poisoned minds lead to violence, to terror attacks, to the killing of Israelis." But the people in Gaza insist that this is a direct response to the Israeli occupation and if and when the Israelis leave Palestinian territory, the children will no longer be taught violence or dream of becoming suicide bombers.

Hamas Website: High-Tech Hate for Kids by Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center Brainwashing the younger generation of Palestinians with concepts of terrorism and hatred has great importance for Hamas. As part of its indoctrination effort, Hamas makes extensive use of the Internet, with approximately 20 Internet sites in seven languages. One sites is an children's magazine called Al-Fateh ("The Conqueror"), www.al-fateh.net.

The magazine has attractive graphics and contains comic-like drawings and photographs to make it "friendly" and attractive to its target audience of young children. There are poems, articles about religious subjects, and tales of heroism from Arabic and Islamic history.

Side by side with these "innocent" items are articles preaching the perpetration of terrorist attacks, extolling the suicide bombers and presenting them as role models, and encouraging hatred for Israel and the Jewish people.

Examples:

(1) Turning the terrorist who perpetrated the 2001 suicide bombing attack at the Dolphinarium into a role model for children. The attack resulted in the deaths of 21 Israeli civilians, mostly teenagers, and 83 wounded. The attack was widely praised in Al-Fateh, which published the text of the will written by the suicide bomber before he left to blow himself up. The will was intended to glorify and extol the image of the suicide bomber and to encourage others to follow in his footsteps, promising the pleasures of paradise in the hereafter. His writings and posters bearing his portrait are distributed by Hamas throughout the Palestinian Authority- administered territories.

(2) Issue No. 38 of Al-Fateh, Hamas' online children's magazine, displayed a picture of a female suicide bomber next to a photograph of her decapitated head lying on the road. The caption praises the act and notes that she is now in paradise, a shaheeda like her male comrades. She killed two Israelis and wounded 17 in September 2004, at Jerusalem's French Hill junction.

(3) Issue no. 38 of Al-Fateh features a story about Muhammad al- Durra, a Palestinian child who died when he was trapped in crossfire between Israeli soldiers and armed Palestinians. Everything about the story is biased and a total fabrication intended to portray Israeli soldiers as a band of evil sadists who enjoy killing both adults and children, and to turn a tragic incident into a tool for inciting Palestinian children to hate Israelis and the Jewish people.

"...The soldiers' teeth protruded as they laughed aloud [when al- Durra was shot], like the protruding teeth of wolves grinding the bones of an innocent lamb they have hunted out of the arms of its mother..."

To intensify the children's hatred for Israelis, the little girl in the story is depicted as having lost an eye when she threw stones at Jews in Al-Aqsa mosque.

"Israa' fought against the pain in her eye with exceptional bravery... She thought of herself as a soldier in the ranks of Allah's army, and was of the opinion that Allah honored her and counted her as one of the defenders of blessed Al-Aqsa mosque... Today her grandmother said…'Do you know, Israa', that your missing eye will be proof and like a medal of honor... proof of the crimes of the Jews, and a medal of honor for your having stood up to their crime of wanting to desecrate our holy places..."

One article says that the Jews were the first to produce magazines for children, using them "in order to brainwash children in the ways of the Torah, the Talmud and the 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion'" -- the libelous book purporting to contain the Jewish plot to take over the world.

Al-Fateh also includes a story which describes how Israeli soldiers demand that a boy, Mihnad, pull down a Palestinian flag flying above an olive tree. Mihnad refuses and does not give in even when he is shot at. When they force him to climb up the tree, Mihnad cries: "long live my land in freedom, long live the flag." The soldiers kill Mihnad in reaction and he is left clutching the flag, drenched in his own blood.

Another story speaks of martyrdom, as a suicide bomber declares that "there is nothing greater than killing oneself on the land of Palestine, for the sake of Allah."

* * *

The terrorist organizations frequently use militant Islamic messages to encourage children and teenagers to join the conflict and to participate in military operations, including suicide bombings. Some examples:

▪ Salah Shehada, who was one of the leaders of the Hamas in Gaza, stated in an interview (on the website Islam On-line, 26 May 2002), that children should be properly trained before they are sent on a mission and that they should be recruited into a special unit of the military arm of the Hamas in order to instill in them the culture of military jihad and to teach them to distinguish between good and evil.

▪ Dr. Padhl Abu Hin, a psychology lecturer, was interviewed on this subject for a television movie entitled "Child Patriots and a Martyrs' Death." He noted that the Palestinian child understands that, by means of the shahada (a martyrs' death for the sake of Allah), through the perpetration of attacks, he/she can win honor and appreciation, without life being ended. [The concept of] Shahada, according to him, encourages children to take an active part in the conflict against Israel (Palestinian TV, 27 June 2002).

▪ Rasha el-Rantissi, wife of Abed el-Aziz el-Rantissi, told the Arab media that she is educating her children to resistance and jihad. She added, "I hope that my husband, my children and I will receive the shahada so that we may prove that we are the first to sacrifice our children for Allah;" "Allah is generous with us, because our children die as fighters, and we wait with them for death for Allah's sake any minute" (el-Bian, 16 June 2003).

▪ Yasser Arafat's speech on the occasion of "Palestinian Child Day", broadcast by Palestinian television (1 June 2003), in which Arafat conveyed a militant Islamic message to the Palestinian child, based on Islamic tradition, encouraged the children to be fighters on Islam's front line (rabat) and to die as martyrs for Allah, while bestowing special status on the ones thus killed (shaheeds).

They don't have to. US history can do that all on it's own.

Start from the:

1/ U2 fly overs,
2/the bay of pigs,
3/the overthrows,
4/the Saddam's trial and travesty of justice and lack of due process,
5/the using of a nation's leaders until they are no longer wanted,Sadam/Reagan/Noriega,
6/the corruption in the National Security Agency("Body of Secrets", Bamford),
7/ the United Fruit medling and murder,
8/the shooting down of an Iranian jet liner while the US cruiser was in Iranian waters,
9/the use of international fly zones by the US for military provocation causing the Russions to mistake KAL007 has a hostile plane,
10/the mistaken shooting of British troops that prompted the gunner to express the words to the effect that they will "get into trouble" when he discovered the error. No sense of remorse there,
11/the threat to Saudi Arabia by the then ambassador that the US will not tolerate a cut off of Saudi oil.

etc,etc the list goes on.

They just have to plop the books on the desks and investigate the rest, and the lessons takes care of itself. Nothing to be self righteous about in this nation.

While the US and Israel continue to threaten Iran with violence, Iranians would be prudent to prepare their defenses.

Most countries honor those who die in the service of their nation. Most countries view dying in the service of your nation as the ultimate sacrifice. Palestinians and Iranians aren't that different from us in that respect.

Also religious fanaticism isn't the primary factor motivating a suicide bomber.

Robert Pape: Over the past two years, I have collected the first complete database of every suicide-terrorist attack around the world from 1980 to early 2004. This research is conducted not only in English but also in native-language sources-Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, and Tamil, and others-so that we can gather information not only from newspapers but also from products from the terrorist community. The terrorists are often quite proud of what they do in their local communities, and they produce albums and all kinds of other information that can be very helpful to understand suicide-terrorist attacks.
This wealth of information creates a new picture about what is motivating suicide terrorism. Islamic fundamentalism is not as closely associated with suicide terrorism as many people think. The world leader in suicide terrorism is a group that you may not be familiar with: the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka.
This is a Marxist group, a completely secular group that draws from the Hindu families of the Tamil regions of the country. They invented the famous suicide vest for their suicide assassination of Rajiv Ghandi in May 1991. The Palestinians got the idea of the suicide vest from the Tamil Tigers.

TAC: So if Islamic fundamentalism is not necessarily a key variable behind these groups, what is?
RP: The central fact is that overwhelmingly suicide-terrorist attacks are not driven by religion as much as they are by a clear strategic objective: to compel modern democracies to withdraw military forces from the territory that the terrorists view as their homeland. From Lebanon to Sri Lanka to Chechnya to Kashmir to the West Bank, every major suicide-terrorist campaign-over 95 percent of all the incidents-has had as its central objective to compel a democratic state to withdraw.

TAC: That would seem to run contrary to a view that one heard during the American election campaign, put forth by people who favor Bush's policy. That is, we need to fight the terrorists over there, so we don't have to fight them here.

RP: Since suicide terrorism is mainly a response to foreign occupation and not Islamic fundamentalism, the use of heavy military force to transform Muslim societies over there, if you would, is only likely to increase the number of suicide terrorists coming at us. Since 1990, the United States has stationed tens of thousands of ground troops on the Arabian Peninsula, and that is the main mobilization appeal of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. People who make the argument that it is a good thing to have them attacking us over there are missing that suicide terrorism is not a supply-limited phenomenon where there are just a few hundred around the world willing to do it because they are religious fanatics. It is a demand-driven phenomenon. That is, it is driven by the presence of foreign forces on the territory that the terrorists view as their homeland. The operation in Iraq has stimulated suicide terrorism and has given suicide terrorism a new lease on life....

http://www.globalpolicy.org/empire/terrorwar/analysis/2005/0718suicide.htm

Iraq is a good example. Iraq never had a problem with suicide bombing until after the US invaded and occupied it.

And that somehow pertains to the ignorance of using children as WMD, how???

If my boys choose to serve our Nation, then at 18, they have that choice, I am giving them the tools they need to formulate their own thoughts. I am not however, teaching them that any Nationality is evil, and indoctrinating them to kill themselves before they are old enough to know better or have the chance to possibly learn to know better.

I searched and searched, for proof that any other nation was teaching their children anything like this, I specificaly identified Israel. Besides the two pictures that were already posted, there is no evidence that Israel is teaching its children, anything like what is, and is well documented I might add, being taught to Arab children.

I did however find some of what was already posted, that does use generalizations and racial bigotry, in Israeli print. But Nothing that preaches the level of hate that is the found in Arab lit, directed at children.

Interesting take from my fellow posters.

Tell me now, how many of you were taught in schools that a different religion is evil? That bigotry is just fine and dandy? That homosexuals should be hung in the town square?

I'll wait for your replies.

feelings of prejudice are inescapable. frankly, i think subtle racism (or *pretending* that you're not really all that racist or sexist or ___) is a lot more sickening.
