Inflation may have been limited if COVID-19 stimulus was lifted earlier: Bank of Canada - National | Globalnews.ca
Deputy governor Paul Beaudry said in hindsight, governments and central banks should have withdrawn stimulus measures earlier as economies recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic.
And there it is - the admission of what everyone (sane) already knew. The scary thing is that Trudeau is now switching from Covid "stimulus" to "inflation relief stimulus". It will do the exact same thing - put upward pressure on inflation which will force the banks to raise rates to fight it, which will cause suffering which presumably cause the feds to issue more 'relief' stimulation, and so on,
Stop the economy, i want to get off.
