Yes but you have been out of the country. Ours was only that long and we didn't go anywhere.

What are you complaining about

AB has 2 seasons - Winter and construction - other have to deal with 4 seasons

Then we have mostly blue skies.

The we also have a benign dictatorship that looks after us all.

Really ungrateful.

Don't let Ed hear that - you could be DucketSized - without the half mil of course.

In my 40 years in Alberta, I never minded the cold in winters, but I almost always hated the way snow complicated things, all the shoveling, de-icing, driving and even walking more slowly and carefully, etc.

The only time I liked it was as a kid, when I was too young to have to shovel, and especially after Dad bought us our little ski-doo...

Go to the Maritimes - lots of heavy wet snow - You and a shovel.

oh I wish that the snow would melt already...

OK back on topic: It may not be the best time to move until the snow melts

The nice thing about Calgary is you only have to shovel a couple times each year: most of it melts shortly after it lands. When you get farther north, shoveling becomes more frequent...

Yeah, once from October till January and once from February till May.
