I would vote fore Obama, I would love to see him and his lovely smart savvy wife, and their
two beautiful children, reside in the white house. She will be a very efficient first lady, as
she is so modern, and intelligent, and broad minded, and 'just' a very neat person.

The last people I'd vote for are the Republicans. The fearmongering is sickening.

I would have voted for McCain.

I'm a bit disappointed that he lost.

I also laugh at those people, particularly Americans, who says things like: "A black man would never be elected in any other Western country! So America is unique!"

They ignore the fact that the US has never had a woman President, whereas Britain became the first major Western country to elect a female leader (Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher) in 1979.

The US has also never had a Jewish President, whereas Britain has had several Jewish Prime MInisters, notably Benjamin Disraeli.

Britain is just a trailblazer in that regard, right blackleaf? Britain does everything better and sooner.... hehehe
