As some of you may know, I'm a songwriter in my spare time. I wrote a ballad, and a musical producer I met on my Schizophrenic site came up with a classical, instrumental version of it.

It has almost 18,000 listens on Soundcloud in just one month! I PM'd it to Danbones and Mowich, but figured what the hey...I'll share it with the rest of you!

Let me know what you guys and gals think!

That's okay, MHz...the ballad wasn't written for you. It has over 200 'likes' so far from different people around the world. But I appreciate your feedback just the same.

Yeesh! Why did I even bother??

Two of the most acidic posters on this forum show up in their Clown Cars and diss my work. I think I'll just stick to my music forums from now on...to get legitimate feedback from people who know the craft, and know what they are talking about.

If you put some words to it let me know.
Totally cool with this music, piano at the top, just below the lyrics.

I’m not dissing your work. I haven’t listened to it. 200 likes after 18,000 listens has dissed your work. Sorry for pointing out the ridiculously obvious.

My producer buddy did a fantastic job.

This is a bit like Mozart being critiqued by Charles Manson cult members. lol!

Nope. It’s more like an artist being judged by the public. Only one percent were motivated enough to bother to hit the like button.

And Cannuck,

At the very least, I put a smile on over 200 faces. What have you done recently to better yourself, or those around you?

I'll just wait for the sane posters to weigh in...
I was already here and left.

It will be awhile before the next one will come along, would you like a cot while you wait? Pen and paper, maybe write a poem inspired by the music and this place while you wait. Everybody says my dog cries when I leave, till I say she is entertaining herself by singing a tune. Jaw drops and they walk away, such is life.

It was a blizzardy kind of day as I strolled into my office to check the mailbox, . . . . .

Not my type of music but good for you. I take it this is theroputic for you?

Yes, taxslave...

I suppose music is a form of therapy for me.

My daughter is going to produce a video to accompany the tune and we'll put it up on Youtube. Then we'll see how it goes. Soundcloud is basically other musicians listening to each other's work, so Youtube will be a good test for the track.

20 minutes of playing guitar clears the mind better than a 3hr nap.
