Silver up 150 % for 2025 with some predicting $100 per Troy ounce for 2026.

The real money appears to be in garbage though as the former hockey player turned Green for Life CEO was the first to receive the new $80 million Bombardier Global 8000 which is being touted as the fastest since the Concorde with better range. No doubt he has places to be.

Coincidentally, Ontario has turned over the recycling program to Circular Materials which is a GFL controlled entity.

First sign for me was to find a giant blue recycling bin in my drive apparently to replace the previously used blue box. Never having had issues on the collection side I wondered how many of these stupid bins did the city buy only to find out it was province wide. Canadian Tire has the bins listed for just under $200 all in. Makes a strong case for government contracts as a business model.

The last time I bought silver was about 15 years ago, I purchased an ounce coin for my son for $25. It was an Australian coin with the most presidential looking koala bear on you’ve ever seen.
