Hurricane Irma takes aim at Trump's Mar-a-Lago

Trump should stay there and ride it out

Hurricane Irma takes aim at Trump's Mar-a-Lago, social media goes wild | Fox News

"Imagine the poetic justice of a hurricane named "Irma" & “Jose” destroying Mar-A-Lago."

I don't think that hurricanes actually aim at anything. But it would be nice for a global warming denier to get a message that he might just be wrong.

But it's not anthropological, never has been, never will be, humans just aren't that powerful. There ain't nothin we can do to stop climate change but gubmints have convinced many that if we give them more of our money climate will not change.

980 million cars on earth, factories and so on spewing emissions into the atmosphere.. yes, we are affecting the Climate - only stupid ignorant retards would think otherwise.

Stick with your bible and false Gawds Walter... leave the heavy thinking to the Scientists and University Graduates.

Well then you should be pissed off at globalization, brought to you by the same group of f*cktards who keep pushing the AGW mantra.
980 million cars on earth and yet international shipping generates more pollution and emissions than all the cars on the planet combined. At the height of Alberta's oil production, Canada's GHG emissions were only HALF of what international shipping vomits out.
International shipping has increased substantially since globalization since the stuff we used to make over here, where we have environmental regulations, is now being made on the other side of the world where environmental regulations don't exist or are simply not enforced, then loaded onto massive, emission belching container ships and sent over here.

All that's been done is to simply shift the burden of GHGs to the other half of the world so we can pat ourselves on the back and brag about how much we're doing to combat "climate change". Gimmie a f*cking break.

So that rant is saying you believe Humans are changing our climate..

Personally I'm not advocating we all trade in our cars tomorrow, or pay Climate Taxes.. what I want to see the new technology, hydrogen cars, electric cars.. new tech.

Once we all agree that we are affecting the Climate, the faster we can focus on new inventions that can change our impact and create a better life for everyone.

Nope, it's saying that govts that are all concerned about AGW are really doing dick about it. Merely passing the buck, as it were. They throw up some whirlygigs as a virtue signal, slap taxes on us to "save the planet" and then do shit that goes completely against the AGW dogma.
It looks like we're not building the Energy East pipeline. So what that means is we'll still be getting oil from Saudi Arabia and loading it up on massive tankers that get 3 meters to the gallon. Yeah, that's saving the planet. The Wynned sock wants to ram through the Ring of Fire mining operation, a massive mining operation that will be highly carbon intensive from building the infrastructure to the actual mining and smelting. She's also allocated several thousand hectares of northern Ontario forest to be chopped down to make room for, wait for it, more cattle farms. Cattle farms that essentially feed the fast food and restaurant industry, probably one of the most wasteful industries on the planet.
The previous BC Liberals had already allocated 60% of the power to be generated by the Site C dam to the gas fields of northern BC, which in turn supply much of the oil patch's needs. Site C also requires the flooding of lots of forest and farmland. Not exactly environmentally friendly.
Trudeau approved the Keystone XL, albeit a day late and a dollar short.
Obama opened up the Utah oil sands for exploration and exploitation, you know, despite his "concerns" about Canadian oil sands being so carbon intensive. I guess by virtue of St. Obama, the patron saint of the climate, those Utah oil sands are clean and 100% emissions-free.

Meanwhile, The bulk of Germany's power generation still comes from lignite, the dirtiest coal you can find. China sill consumes the bulk of the world's coal production.

But most of all, the "green" energy plans all include commercial installations instead of making it a much friendlier environment for individuals to become more self-sufficient when it comes to power generation.
In Ontario we are now forced to buy our power from a private power supplier. There's no option and you have to remain hooked up to the grid thereby insuring that even if you generate 100% of your own power, you still get a hydro bill.

Can you say blatant transfer of wealth? I know you can.

On the bright side KindrMorgan has awarded contracts for the construction of the new pipe to Vancouver.

Well if it does hit mar - a lago Trump might claim that Obama had a secret device that could guide/control weather patterns and they were going to use it to destroy their enemies. And because Obama was jealous that Trump had a bigger inauguration crowd then Obama - Obama used the device to attack the winter White house. Cheers and happy weekend!
