Poor bear. He's probably wondering around in the forest wondering why it isn't the same place he woke up in. I always feel sorry for bears who eat humans or human garbage. They almost always go crazy from all the toxic waste.

Bear buried man 3 times

Umm...No-that never happened because that's not what Bears do.

Bears scrape dirt and leaves over their kills but they do not bury them in a hole-that is Bee Ess.

A seldom stated fact about Bears is that although Black Bears seldom attack humans, when they do they will happily eat you. in fact will target you. They like long pig.
Grizzlies will rarely ever consume human flesh, they usually just want to whack the **** outta you cause you ticked them off by getting too close to a kill they have claimed or scared their Cubs. Occasionally they are just in a bad mood. I once watched a Grizz digging Marmots on a mountain ridge from about 200 yds away. After a few minutes of energizer Bear making flying rocks and dirt his quarry got away. The Grizz then proceeded to bite off junipers and small spruce while moaning and roaring, foam flying from his jaws.

I sneaked quietly and backtracked over the ridge, i did not want to meet that dude! Looked over my shoulder regularly all the mile to where my horse was tied.

Scooping debris overtop an item to hide it is often referred to as burying it, regardless of whether it's soil, or leaves. The article actually refers to it very concisely.
