Why do human beings act the way in which we do?
Why do we constantly think that material possession equates to happiness?
How can we change the path humanity is walking? Do we need to change it?

I have a plan, a guide, a suggestion (whatever one wants to call it) that is all encompassing, all inclusive and relates to any and all situations that the human species is involved in
Is the time right to reveal? Is the world ready?

Right after they have bought up the last iPod. I'm afraid the species has been on the path to its own destruction for so long it would be impossible to put on the brakes soon enough to prevent the inevitable. I want to watch the end on the 59" flat screen TV I'm going to buy next week.

As the natives gave up the Island of Manhattan for a few beads and trinkets we now
trade away our heritage for ipods and tv sets, and later we will complain, but not
until the warranty runs out.
People subscribe to one thing GREED it is born into our nature. Of course we all
contribute to charity and give money to the third world. This is not because we are
kind and loving people its because we want to ensure they never compete with us,
and take the abundance of what we have. We start as children being forced to share
our toys and be civil to one another, then we grow up and join groups and associations
not to better the world, but so we have social and business contacts to help us gain
even more. When we start getting old we turn to thing like the Canadian Content Forum
so we can argue with each other and complain about the things being deficient and
the country going to hell in a hand basket due to all the problems we created in society
when we were younger.
And you want to change all this? Not for a minute. I don't want to drive one of these
little smart cars and live in a condo dealing with the condo nazis and their rules and
regulations. I want to live out my days doing what I always did, even if my mind is gone
and I don't remember what it was I did. The world is just fine thank you.
The real problem is the people, like me that live on the planet and we want to talk about
change we just don't want to see change happen.
We do walk one path together that is true and the reason is because those damn people
in government have driven the price of fuel up so we can't drive in one direction together

You're probably right. It may not make a difference. But does that mean that we, that I, should not try. As stupid and naive as it sounds, every time I see a challenge facing humanity, I am also shown an opportunity to help. An opportunity create something more...

I believe that humanity, that humans, that you and I have our faults. That we do much damage to each other and the earth around us.
But...
I also believe in the good that humanity has to offer. I sound like a mad hippie and dreamer... I know.

We must all walk the path of life, of time. Should this path continue status quo?
Who leads this path? Our world leaders?
What is the global goal of humanity?

I have an option for everyone.
It may not be the right one
I do not think it is the wrong one
But it can be a chosen one
All we have to do is choose it
Choose our future and where it goes
Then we ARE walking the chosen path
Humanity's chosen path
