I have to steal the response from one of the commenters to the article........

This headline just proves collusion between the government and the press and warns everyone reading it to never believe a word they say. NOBODY except the people who MAY have negotiated this agreement knows anything about the content. How can the public even have an opinion on the subject. Absurd.

Just because you opinion was not requested does not mean the poll data is any less accurate than any other poll.

taxslave, I think the point is that nobody, aside from Cabinet ministers and those public servants involved in the negotiation of the free trade deal, have any idea what is in the agreement. It would have been one thing if Canadians were asked in a survey whether they were in favour of pursuing a free trade agreement with the European Union; but instead, they were asked whether they supported the deal negotiated by the present Government of Canada. It simply doesn't make any sense.

It would be a stretch to find 1 in 5 that still thinks FTA/NAFTA was a good idea.
