I have a question - Is discriminating against Dems or Reps any worse or better than discriminating against Jews or Gentiles?

No, it's not. If it was, presumably "political affiliation" would have been included as a protected class in the Civil Rights Acts.

Now I have a question for you. Do you think it's wrong for business owners to reserve the right to refuse service?

Depends, there's no cut and dried answer! In any event it should be explained to the patron, why he's being refused. If the guy/gal had been caught stealing I would say yes. There might be some areas where it's borderline. If it's a smorgasbord and the guy just climbed out of the sewer and hadn't washed his hands, I'd refuse him service. If his actions/demeanor discourage other customers, he should probably be banned. If he's cross eyed and has two noses, then no you can't.

She should the ass off the restaurant, and force it to close.

She won't of course, she has too much class for that.

Why? Most restaurants have the right to refuse service.

Just saw this. Do they not? Or is that something from the old days, when America was great.

Which is exactly what happened. Both sides say the discussion was quite civil, and Ms. Sanders agreed to leave.

Nope, they've done that all along. It's been used on people with long hair, people who were dressed in ways the management didn't like, people who were too loud, people who gay, and frankly, in many places, on people for illegitimate and illegal purposes, often with the compliance of the cops.

Worth noting that up until a couple of days ago, conservatives fiercely defended the right of business owners to refuse service. But there are few conservatives left. Mostly MAGAhats nowadays.

Then followed the Sander family to the next restaurant and protested, Sarah and her husband weren't there, they went home
I am OK with asking her to leave her business but crossed the line to harass another business.

You're right. We can't allow free speech in America!

By the way, you do realize that exactly one person has made this claim, right? Mike Huckabee.

And you do realize that it's only being carried by publications with notably right slants, correct?

And that even those publications are not saying it happened, they're saying Mike Huckabee claims it happened, correct?

No corroboration.

People booed Kirstjen Nielsen out of a Mexican restaurant.

People showed up at her house and played amplified recordings of kids crying.

SO things are really evolving on the social front.

What happens to a country that is run by a total douche bag?

Time to start telling people I'm Canadian when I travel overseas again.

Yes, Salty Walty, we know you hate Canadians.

She tried to impose her view on to another business who may not be of the same mind set "not cool"

True only told or reported by Mike, there is nothing to refute his story though, so it's possibly true

Why? Most reasonable people don't hate US nationals. They just disagree with specific actions committed by specific individuals.

How much travelling overseas do you do?

But you and the base swallowed it hook, line, and sinker, so I guess ol' Mike achieved his aim.

I've traveled abroad and even lived abroad. I don't vaunt my nationality or wear a flag when I travel abroad; but if someone asks my nationality, I've never felt a need to hide it yet. I have joked with seriousness on occasion that 'the earth is but one country and mankind its citizens.'

The Red Hen restaurant hasn't opened it's doors since this incident. I predict it will be out of business by the end of next month. Patrons go to these types of places for a quiet, relaxing meal with family and friends. I don't see how that will be possible anymore.

The retarded owners of the Red Hen had the spokeswoman for the leader of the free world choose to attend their establishment. You would think they could find a way to turn that into a positive. The idiots deserve to go Chapter 11.
