People have been trying to diversify the economy for decades here. It's pretty hard to find workers for your widget factory when the patch is paying 100K+ to somebody with a grade 10 education. You will probably never understand this as its been explained many times before. The question is whether Rachel will get it before she wastes untold taxpayers dollars before the patch rebounds again.
That's not what the mainstream media is telling us.

Part of me is surprised there are still folks like you that are on the "diversification" kick but then, given your understanding of economics, I shouldn't be.
BTW...who is this "main stream media" that is telling you diversification hasn't been tried and that is sure to work if it is tried?

CPC has one major flaw which is the Reform wing of the party where the PMO controled the MP Conservatives with an iron fist. Get rid of the bobble head because nodding heads should be by choice not by force. The CPC has to remember that Canada is for Canadians.
