Up. Where else? A pause? Nope. Impossible.

Next.

That's simply not true.

The (solution for the) differential equation for exponetial growth or decay is N = N(0) exp (kt). If k is less than zero then you have expoential decay. If it is greater than 1, you have exponential growth. If it is zero, you have N = N(0) for all t.

Even systems subject to exponetnial growth are not unremittingly positive. For example, a bacterial culture in a dish will grow exponentially, but not every bacterial culture in a dish is still growing. They run out of food, or room, so boundary conditions, or forcings come into play.

It's the mathematics of complex systems.

Emmisions and solar input have not dropped. It's still multiply y when adding to x.

Not when it comes to the CO2 theory. Which went static? CO2 or solar irradiance?

Nonsense. All it would take is an induced change in another part of the ecosystem to create some type of feedback. A little bit of extra water vapor here or there might hide the CO2 signal altogether. Or multiply it.

Now there are other factors? You've ran a one ring CO2 theory circus for years now there are other potentials? Which one flat lined warming even with higher and higher CO2?

Does this mean the blind bipolar bears will see again?

Even more to the point, in your analogy take multiple measurements of the bacterial culture. They won't all be the same. In fact, if you take multiple samples over 5 minutes or even 10 minutes, you could end up showing a pause, even knowing that your bacterial culture shouldn't reach stationary phase for another 48 hours. So what gives? Did your culture stop growing? Is it no longer growing exponentially?

Nope. The signal to noise ratio over that 5 or 10 minutes is such that the variability is dwarfing the rate at which your bacteria are growing.

But try having a conversation with any of these folks by invoking "voodoo" like reality. Best of luck :)

Any idea when the monster hurricanes will hit?
