Iran’s refutation of US’ lies of nuclear weapons censored by corporate media, political “leaders”

Levying war against the US is defined as treason in the US Constitution. The political and corporate media oligarchy who lied to levy war in Iraq committed treason against the US.
The political and corporate media fascists now lie for war with Iran.
The latest lie is one of egregious omission: refusing to communicate to the American public Iran’s refutation of US government lying rhetoric of a nuclear weapons program in Iran; printed below. When media and government silence the voice of opposition, this shouts-out as propaganda that middle school students are taught to recognize.

The Mainstream, Corporate Media Is A Propaganda Mill

Thursday, 18 March 2010 09:22

'The Twentieth Century Fox Corporation is not unique in spreading propaganda, but they are rare in admitting it. Rupert Murdoch, himself in 2003, admitted that his Fox company helped to sell George W. Bush's Iraqi-Afghani wars to the American public.

What a guy! Murdoch helped to sell wars that have made America a psychotic outlaw in the family of civilized nations, and destroyed her economy in the process. Fox, also, promoted the man-made global warming scam with its popular TV shows the Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, and Prison Break.

In the 80s and 90s I spent many, many years telling a very dear friend of mine, who was very overweight to stop drinking diet drinks (he was on about 10 cans a day) and to stop eating diet products. I told him to eat normal food but less of it, and go for a walk every day. But did he listen? Did he buggery. So first of all in the late 90s he devleoped diabetes, then about 2 years ago, his kidneys started to fail and he is now down to about 15% kindey function and on dialysis 3 times a week.
I'm not saying there's a connection...but I've never thought that fake food & drink can be anything other than damaging for the body. I don't drink soft drinks as a rule anyway, but on the odd occaison I have a small glass of cola or lemonade at home it's the stuff with real sugar, none of this chemical-loaded Zero or Max ****!

The media has been running the show since before WW-II. Guess Winston Churchill didn't know what he was doing when he awakened the U.S. out of isolationism. Canada is hand in hand with the United States in just about everything. We is buddies.

Another Gulf War Syndrome?

Tags:

Before her last deployment, 31-year-old Staff Sergeant Danielle Nienajadlo passed her Army physical with flying colors.
She was sent to Walter Reed Army Medical Center and learned she had been diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia, a fast-progressing form of the disease. She told her doctors and her family she had felt fine until she started inhaling the oily black smoke that spewed out of the base's open-air trash-burning facility day and night. At times, the plume contained dioxins, some of which can cause the kind of cancer Nienajadlo had.

Webmaster's Commentary:
Remember: if you are an enlisted service person in the US Army and you get ill, you are expendable.
Please share this story with every young person you know contemplating enlisting in the Army.
Also, if you are an Iraqi citizen breathing this stuff, you are also expendable to the US government.

Revealed: Tony Blair’s Secret Oil Links to Middle East

Sunday, 21 March 2010 11:10

'Tony Blair's secret links to Gulf oil giants were revealed today as fresh details emerged of his “carte blanche” support for George Bush's Iraq war. The former prime minister has been in the pay of the Kuwaiti government and a South Korean oil firm for up to 18 months, a parliamentary watchdog has revealed. But the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments allowed Mr Blair to keep his contracts secret because of “market sensitivities” and because the Kuwaitis requested confidentiality.
In a further revelation, a classified memo from Mr Blair to President Bush showed the full extent of his support for the toppling of Saddam Hussein. The personal note — which has been seen by the Chilcot Inquiry but not released by the Government — shows that Mr Blair wrote: “You know, George, whatever you decide to do, I'm with you.”'

Maxine's viewpoint on healthcare

Let me get this straight......we're trying to pass a health care plan written

by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by

a Congress that hasn't read it, but exempts themselves from it, to be signed

by a president who also hasn't read it, and who smokes, with funding

administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, all to be

overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country

that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong????

Disturbing findings of toxic uranium levels in Gaza

Tags:

Studies conducted by a group of Italian researchers have revealed the presence of dangerous levels of toxins in the bodies of Palestinian victims of Israeli bombings during operation Cast Lead in 2008-2009. The results of tests conducted on a sample of 15 dead and wounded victims of the war on Gaza, in addition to another sample of 95 citizens, showed the presence of 30 toxic components, notably high levels of uranium. A senior Ministry of Health official in Gaza, Medhat Abbas, confirmed the findings during a press conference last Thursday.

Webmaster's Commentary:
Warning: the disclaimer at the top of the article about disturbing images is absolutely correct.
But please, take a good look at what your tax dollars are buying in terms of the Israeli IDF's use of toxic chemicals against Palestinian citizens.
Imagine, for one moment, that the people here were your family, your friends, your loved ones.
Then imagine what you would think of a government and military that would resort to using these kinds of chemical weapons against a civilian population.
Joseph Mengele would have been proud of this kind of treatment of the "inferior others" by his government.
How bitterly ironic that so many of those in the Israeli government and IDF are direct descendants of those who survived the Holocaust in Germany.

NATO Won't Destroy Afghan Poppy Fields

Thursday, 25 March 2010 07:51

'NATO has rejected an appeal made by Russia for eradication of opium fields in Afghanistan, arguing that the sole source of income in the region cannot be removed.
Addressing a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council on Wednesday, head of Russia's Federal Drug Control Agency (FSKN) Victor Ivanov said "Afghan opiates led to the death of 1 million people by overdose in the last 10 years, and that is United Nations data. Is that not a threat to world peace and security?"
The Russian official tasked NATO forces with "normalizing the situation in Afghanistan" which includes "the elimination of drug production".'

The opium thing is very complicated; you've got Afghan oligarchs (read: friendly to NATO) that have investments in it but there are also independent producers and no doubt some income from that goes to financing Taliban forces. But mainly it keeps a lot of people employed and thus avoids adding to the starvation that the US occupation has already caused.

NATO is desperate to avoid more bad PR than they already have in Afghanistan, so eradicating Poppy fields is simply not an option.

The reason the UN "supports" it is because, given the situation, doing otherwise would be a violation of the human rights of Afghans (namely by preventing them from surviving, as they have no other recourse at present). Once the Afghan economy can sustain itself without the opium trade (as in, people not dying of starvation), then it becomes an issue...but not until then.

That isn't to say Russia's claim isn't legitimate (although considering the state of their country, the drugs probably ease the pain).

when the taliban was in power, they banned the growing of poppies...the farmers still survived...but the loss of supply of heroin cost those in the us heaps, much easier to go in and "get rid of" the taliban thus reinstating the supply.........

That would be cool if it were true...

1, The poppy still grew while the Taliban was in power.
2, There was a 10% drop in last years production.
3, The Taliban are promoting poppy growth now, as they did secretly when in power. It was a cash crop then, it's a cash crop now.

Stop kidding yourself Stretch.

Taliban's heroin 'double-cross'

By Julian West and Philip Sherwell
Published: 12:00AM GMT 18 Feb 2001

THE poppy fields of Afghanistan's Golden Crescent, normally the source of three-quarters of the world's heroin, have been transformed this year, according to United Nations drugs officials.
Cash crop: Afghanistan was the source last year for 75 per cent of the world supply After a detailed two-week tour, they say that few of the 175,000 acres formerly covered by the deadly opium crop are still in bloom. The fundamentalist Taliban regime ordered the country's farmers to stop growing poppies following an edict by Mullah Omar, the supreme religious leader, that opium cultivation is un-Islamic.

Taliban's heroin 'double-cross' - Telegraph
From your own link...

The move, however, has little to do with a new religious stance from the Islamic fundamentalist movement, which has been happy to bolster its coffers with the proceeds of the drugs trade. Rather, it is a cynical effort to win UN recognition and with it the lifting of sanctions and the restoration of foreign aid.
Which of course, is exactly what I just said...and bolstered by...

TALIBAN militants raised about $100 million from Afghanistan’s opium trade in 2007, the head of the United Nation’s anti-drugs agency has said.

The opium continues to flow from Afghanistan, U.S. officials say, even though the Taliban last year vowed to ban opium cultivation and to direct farmers toward crops that would help feed millions who live in poverty. Taliban leaders declared that heroin, which is derived from opium, was anti-Islam.
The United Nations estimates that Afghanistan's opium crop seems to have dropped by more than 90% this year from the nearly 3,300 metric tons produced in 2000. But now the Taliban either is unwilling or unable to enforce the opium ban, which U.S. and U.N. officials say appears to have been largely a ploy to drive up opium prices by limiting the supply.
