Fox Admits To Planting Political Brainwashing In Popular TV Shows

'Rupert Murdoch's Twentieth Century Fox corporation has admitted to planting political brainwashing within its globally popular TV shows and indeed boasts that it is proud of the fact.
A corporate video currently being showcased on another part of Murdoch's media empire, MySpace.com, shows Fox executives and stars of its universally recognized shows bragging about how they use the platform of hit shows that are broadcast globally to implant messages about the supposed threat of global warming.'

'They used a scalpel... I was crying in agony': Guantanamo victim Binyam Mohamed speaks

Tags: TORTURE/WAR CRIMES
'They took the scalpel... One of them took my penis in his hand and began to make cuts. He did it once, and they stood still for maybe a minute, watching my reaction.
'I was in agony, crying, trying desperately to suppress myself, but I was screaming. They must have done this 20 to 30 times in maybe two hours.'

Webmaster's Commentary:
But remember, the terrorists only hate us because we are free!!
On a more serious note, this is just one man. It is clear that the reason Barack Obama is refusing to allow any more Guantanamo prisoners to be released is that their stories likely equal, even possibly exceed this victim's story in terms of sheer barbarity of treatment.
These prisoners, many of whom have done no wrong at all, are going to be kept prisoners, possibly until they die, for no other crime than being an embarrassment to the state.

Given the nastiness of the human behaviour in the links you post, I think you should open a new thread like this one only be less forgiving; I mean, "bastards"? I was thinking more along the lines of, "Those pitiless holy-god mother-*ucking euthanasia-worthy $hit gene pieces of psychotic human garbage!!" Has a nicer ring to it IMO.

No....no, I'd say, 'pitiless holy-god mother-*ucking euthanasia-worthy $hit gene pieces of psychotic human garbage' pretty much sums it up.

Not having a father...please. That's letting way too many a-holes get off the hook easy. Hell, I thought my description was rather light. Perhaps 'torture-followed-by-gas-chamber-worthy' could be added on.

Monsanto Forced Fox TV to Censor Coverage of Dangerous Milk Drug

'I know from personal experience how satisfying it is to catch some nasty multinational corporation telling lies about the safety of their product--especially when that company is Monsanto, the world's largest maker of genetically modified (GM) foods. So I could only imagine the excitement of investigative reporters Jane Akre and Steve Wilson, who had caught a Monsanto executive on film repeatedly lying about GM bovine growth hormone (rbGH or rbST).'

The Pulitzer-Winning Investigation That Dare Not Be Uttered on TV

Tags: CORPORATE MEDIA
The New York Times' David Barstow won a richly deserved Pulitzer Prize yesterday for two articles that, despite being featured as major news stories on the front page of The Paper of Record, were completely suppressed by virtually every network and cable news show, which to this day have never informed their viewers about what Bartow uncovered. Here is how the Pulitzer Committee described Barstow's exposés:
Awarded to David Barstow of The New York Times for his tenacious reporting that revealed how some retired generals, working as radio and television analysts, had been co-opted by the Pentagon to make its case for the war in Iraq, and how many of them also had undisclosed ties to companies that benefited from policies they defended

I really don't see this as all that explosive: cooperation between the media and the Pentagon in favour of corporate interests is definitely nothing new in the USA.

Sorry, I don't mean to minimize the implications of the above but that relationship is reasonably well-documented; it's been virtually standard practise since Vietnam (if not before).

But I suppose it's a big deal for a large sector of the American population that insists on getting its information from mainstream media outlets.

Former Soldier Accused of Brutal Rape and Murder of 14-Year Old Iraqi Girl Starts Trial

Tags: COVER-UP/DECEPTIONS/PROPAGANDA IRAQ TORTURE/WAR CRIMES

It was called one of the most horrific crimes by U.S. troops against Iraqi civilians: In March 2006, a group of whiskey-fueled soldiers, their faces concealed and wearing black long underwear, descended upon a farmhouse some 20 miles south of Baghdad, gang-raped a teenage girl and shot her in the head, killing her along with her younger sister and their parents. The soldiers then tried to burn the bodies, setting fire to the house.
The grisly crime was initially blamed on insurgents -- "This is what happens when you harbor terrorists," a military translator told a relative after the bodies were found -- but three months later, the truth was revealed, when a fellow soldier from the unit told combat-stress counselors about what had happened.

MoD admits use of controversial 'enhanced blast' weapons in Afghanistan

Tags:
British pilots in Afghanistan are firing an increasing number of "enhanced blast" thermobaric weapons, designed to kill everyone in buildings they strike, the Ministry of Defence has revealed.
Its wider use was disclosed by John Hutton, the defence secretary, in answer to a parliamentary answer from Nick Harvey, the Liberal Democrat defence spokesman. "Given the MoD's reluctance to admit they were even going to use these weapons, they now seem to be getting rather more trigger-happy," Harvey said yesterday. "If these controversial weapons are being fired on a weekly basis in Afghanistan, we need to know that they are being used according to strict rules of engagement."

Webmaster's Commentary:
The most probably reality is that these weapons are being used indiscriminately, killing all - including women, kids, and the medically infirm - in their wake.
The Afghans do not hate the Brits, Americans, or NATO soldiers "because we are free"; they hate us because we are killing their wives, their husbands, their infants, their aunts and uncles, and friends, many of whom just want to stay out of the way of combat.

I heard on the radio today that Australia pays compensation to the families of the innocent people killed by Aussie forces in Afganistan..... if ya believe that, then I have a waterfront property forsale......at low tide.

An Expose on the Child Abuse Industry
A two-year investigation by a Los Angeles Newspaper Group found that
the system has
taken thousands of children away from their parents in cases where it may not have been
necessary or advisable, sending them to homes that are sometimes more dangerous than
the ones they left. This happens nationwide, not just in LA.

The reason? It appears to be a twisted system of financial incentives that rewards states
and counties for placing additional children in foster care–from $30,000 to $150,000 for
each child.
The reward system, which one expert called the “perverse incentive factor,” has led L.A.
County and others to whisk children away from their parents when alternatives might have
worked as well or better . . .

Obama Science Czar’s Plan To Sterilize Population Through Water Supply Already Happening

'Shocking proposals to mass sterilize the population by artificially medicating municipal water supplies, which were outlined by President Obama’s top science czar in his 1977 book Ecoscience, are already in effect as global sperm counts drop and gender-bending chemicals pollute our rivers and lakes.
As we highlighted on Saturday, alongside John P. Holdren’s advocacy for a global planetary regime to enforce forced abortion, government `seizure of children born out of wedlock, and mandatory bodily implants designed to prevent pregnancy,
Obama’s top advisor also called for,”Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods.”Holdren added that the sterilant must meet stiff requirements in that it must only affect humans and not livestock.'

Children tortured before parents, raped, all covered up by Bush/Cheney and our media

Share this on Twitter - Children tortured before parents, raped, all covered up by Bush/Cheney and our media

Perhaps the worst incident at Abu Ghraib involved a girl aged 12 or 13 who screamed for help to her brother in an upper cell while stripped naked and beaten. Iraqi journalist Suhaib Badr-Addin al-Baz, who heard the girl’s screams, also witnessed an ill 15-year-old who was forced to run up and down with two heavy cans of water and beaten whenever he stopped. When he finally collapsed, guards stripped and poured cold water on him. Finally, a hooded man was brought in. When unhooded, the boy realized that the man was his father, who doubtless was being intimidated into confessing something upon sight of his brutalized son.

Empathy is what keeps men from becoming MONSTERS.
Simulposted at docudharma.com

They did it brazenly in front of other prisoners. Nothing but a sheet separated the sound of screaming and the torment of children.
This is how you create your own insurgency.
From this PDF obtained by The Washington Post I have transcribed a portion of an Iraqi detainees testimony to a Titan Corp translator detailing horror in Abu Gharib.
I saw REDACTED ****ing a kid, his age would be about 15 - 18 years. The kid was hurting very bad and they covered all the doors with sheets. Then when I heard the screaming I climbed the door because on top it wasn't covered, and I saw REDACTED who was in military uniform putting his dick in the little kids ass.
~snip~
They put the sheets again on the door. Grainer and his helper they cuffed one prisoner in room #1, named REDACTED, he was an Iraqi citizen. They tied him to the bed and they were inserted the phosphoric light in his ass and he was yelling for God's help.
The web address on that PDF is media.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/world/iraq/abughraib/151108.pdf. How long they have had this info and neglected to report on it I cannot guess.
How much of a failure for our Democracy is it when the media covers up these war crimes, and instead gives us Dick and Liz Cheney to defend themselves and claim without opposition that these crimes were just fine and even necessary.
This statement was made by Kasim Mehaddi Hilas, who abused by Charles Grainer at Abu Ghraib and witnessed many photos being taken by soldiers in Abu Gharib. Many of those photos, I believe, that detail violent rape and torture are among those the Obama Administration refuses to make public.
Hilas, who was himself threatened with being sexually assaulted in Abu Graib, then describes in horrific detail how the soldier raped "the little kid".

Why would we want to drag out the war in Iraq? Why would we fuel the insurgency by raping and abusing Iraqi's right in front of other Iraqi's?
The Overtime, of course. If the job dries up, so does the money, and that makes military defense contractors cry.
These horrors were covered up by Bush/Cheney and ignored by our lapdog corporate right wing press. Sure they ran stories about torture, I must have just missed their Sunday Child Detainee Rape and Torture Edition.
This cover up has been aided by Republican and Democratic members of Congress. In my opinion nothing can save The Bush/Cheney Administration and their accomplices from justice, and the only thing that can save those members of Congress who knew of this is if they come clean NOW and aid any investigations in whatever way they can.

Please, send an e-mail or call The White House, Attorney General Eric Holder and Congress. AG Holder is said to be strongly leaning towards naming a Special Prosecutor and Congress has an obligation to investigate Bush/Cheney's policies and illegal activities. Please act today and demand accountability for War Crimes. Contact information has been provided at the bottom of this diary.
Who benefits from a prolonged invasion of Iraq? The military contractors who charged the U.S. Government whatever they felt like on their no-bid contracts, of course. That is cost plus, mind you.
And how do we make the war go on and on and on? Through abuse, torture, alienation and the rape of the population.
Instant insurgency.

There are many reasons why, but to discount the random and often dubious kidnapping of Iraqis and Afghanis anywhere near a battlefield and their systematic abuse and torture, one would have to be a fool.

While General Hamid Zabar was being questioned in Iraq, his interrogators decided to arrest his frail 16-year-old son in order to produce a confession. After soldiers found the boy, he was stripped, drenched with mud and water, and exposed to the cold January night while bound and driven about in the open back of a truck. When presented naked to his father, he was shivering due to hypothermia, clearly needing medical attention.
uswarcrimes.com
What better way to get someone to admit to anything, anything, no matter how false, than to make them endure the torture and suffering of their own children.
After researching this diary, my attitude has changed. I say **** these soldiers who committed these crimes. There should be NO IMMUNITY for those who were just "following orders". If they did this on their own they should be severely punished. If American soldiers were ordered to rape and torture may the Gods have mercy on us all.

So, how do you manufacture an insurgency that justifies the need to "fight the war on terror there, instead of here"? How do you justify staying no matter how long to finish the job?
Well, for starters, imprisoning, beating and raping a nations sons and daughters will do the trick.
Imagine if these were Americas children. How would you react if this was your kids.
You'd probably want revenge.
From jailing children together with adults in prisons where they were raped to failing to notify their parents of their arrest, the U.S. committed numerous war crimes against children in Afghanistan and Iraq, a new book on President Bush states.
~snip~
"American guards videotaped Iraqi male prisoners raping young boys but took no action to stop the offenses (and) children in Abu Ghraib were deliberately frightened by dogs," writes political scientist Michael Haas in his new book, "George W. Bush, War Criminal?"(Praeger), a question he answers in the affirmative.
globalresearch.ca

The Bush Administration attempted to redefine the meaning of "child" by stating that a child by U.S. standards is 16 years old or younger, not the 18 years or younger mandate required by Geneva law. Much like the attempt to redefine "Prisoner of War" by calling captured people on or near battlefields as "enemy combatants", the Bush Administration insisted on making up the rules as they went along. Even then, by their own new standard of what is legal the Bush Administration was still acting outside even their own newest version of the law.
According to Michael Hass at least 800 children between the ages of 10 and 15 years old were captured in Afghanistan, of which 64 were sent to Guantanamo bay.
Haas notes that Protocol 1 of the 1977 Geneva Convention states "No Party to the conflict shall arrange for the evacuation of children, other than its own nationals, to a foreign country" unless written consent of the parents is obtained.
globalresearch.ca
Do we really need anymore reasons why we should have a full investigation that leads to the prosecution of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and anyone else involved in these horrific crimes against humanity?

Please, contact The White House, Attorney General Eric Holder and Congress and demand justice for these crimes. When you call quote the worst examples in this diary. Our leaders and media can no longer be blind to these crimes.
