figures from all parties that voted against Harper a majority of Canadians
wanted change and they got it.

Governments wear out. That one wore out. The Conservatives lost the election and the Liberals took power. I don't see a sweeping philosophical change in our country, only in some of the media coverage

What you are saying about excessive promises is probably true in a way but that's not what got them elected.
