Sanctus, for some odd reason, has been quiet about this, but the Latin phrase Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus, meaning: "Outside the Church there is no salvation", is a dogma of the Roman Catholic Church, defined in the form, "it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff" in Pope Boniface VIII's 1302 bull Unam Sanctam. It also appears in the profession of faith of the Fourth Lateran Council: "One, moreover, is the universal Church of the faithful, outside of which no one at all is saved."

You shock me. What you wrote above is outright blasphemy and heresy against God and His Holy Church. There are no means open to salvation but through Christ and His Church. Period.

Why suppose Jesus was accused of blasphemy? If you can answer that correctly, then you will understand where I am coming from.

Through Christ Yes, not through the church. It maybe that it so happens that you found out about Christ through the church, and that is great. But again, the church saves nobody, only Christ saves.
That message is prevalent throughout the whole bible!

Care to discuss the bible?

Stand on your own two feet, not on Sanctus views of the church.
If you want a sure foundation to stand on, where the waves of attacks lash against it, and not be moved, then select to trust in Jesus as your foundation.

:read2:Luk 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

That rock is Jesus!

I believe Gilbert was correct so ............. its for you AJ

I'm not sure what you meant there brother Vin, but I am dead serious when it comes to things of God!
People are hurting because they don't know where to find peace for their souls, and joking about it is no laughing matter.

I will lead those who wish to find and have peace for their souls directly to Christ. No middle man needed.
God is as close as your lips, the words says,( without quoting actual scripture) and all that is needed is to just simply mention His name.

Call on Him with your heart and your lips, and He will answer! He promised?

That is not the words of sanctus. It is a doctrine of the Church that she is the ark of salvation and the true faith of God. m_levesque is lamenting that sanctus has neglected to bring this up, considering he is a priest and should know better about this teaching.

and you're wrong about the rock, Jesus said Peter was the rock on which Christ twould build the Church.

My blessings to you in agreement. Let us pray one for another.

Thank you. I am so happy and peaceful today. This experience has renewed my faith in God, His Church and His Sacraments. I have already said two rosaries today!

Is the Church capable of policing this in the context of our Country??

With Justice above all---No secrets??

No, perhaps not, but it should police its own membership Catholic polticians that support anti-Catholic doctrines should be dealt with by the Church, even if it means denying them the Church's Sacraments.
