How can we get rid of our sinfulness?

It's in Sun Tzu's writings that one can turn a weakness into a strength. The key is in recognizing that a weakness is a weakness and once one recognizes it, the weakness becomes a strength. Sun Tzu, a follower of Confucius, wrote about that somewhere around 500 BC. Long before the New Testament. It's most probably that he never had any contact of any Christian influence. So it is highly unlikely that the concept's origins lie with Christianity.

To me, that only shows the presence of God whose truth extends beyond our imagination.

Yesterday, our parish held a 5 pm Mass of Hope, our priest called it, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience for me. In short, the Spirit of the Lord came upon me and filled me with such joy and peace that I am so happy this day. His love is so great, and His mercy so strong. After being away from the Church for decades, I finally came home on Holy Saturday of 2005. I had been radically converted to the Lord in 1973. It happened in a Baptist church and, what did I know, I followed whatever they told me, for the short time I was there.

Now, all these years later, I feel like I have a calling to help bring Protestant Christians into the fullness of communion with the Church, especially evangelical Christians, and to help lapsed Catholics back.

I was inducted into the Secular Franciscan Order in October of last year. At January's fraternity meeting, we had the annual Epiphany service. We each received three "spiritual" gifts, in imitation, I guess, of the three gifts that the Magi gave the Holy Family.

We each received a Scripture verse to help us through this year, a virtue to practice this year, and a patron Saint for the year, I guess for emulation and intercession.

Anyway, in the context of how does God speak to us, here we go. These three gifts were chosen at random. There were three bags, one for each gift, and a separate person for each bag to draw out the gift at random.

My patron saint for this year is...St. Charles Borromeo!!!!! Is this the Lord speaking to me, or what? I take this as confrimation that I am on the right track with what I fell is my calling, seeing as how St. Charles was one of the driving forces of the Council of Trent and the Counter-Reformation, and worked to confirm Catholics in their faith, and to bring lapsed Catholics back to the faith.

And the virtue I received was exactly what I had been thinking about and concerned about in my life.

See how our sovereign Lord works through such a simple ceremony done at random to confirm His love and guidance to His people!

Like you, it makes me feel sad that so many people are blind to the truth of Jesus and His Holy Catholic Church. I feel like gathering some friends and standing outside protestant churches handing out rosaries

Me too. The fact that teachings of the faith are present in other systems of belief indicates to me the presence of God in the world.

When you commit a crime and when you realize , what ever you have done that was wrong and try to come out of your sin , by going to church or where ever you feel like , where actually you can confess , and you make sure that you don’t repeat the same in future again and also you try to make sure others also does not do that .... that’s how you can get rid

Recognizing the behaviour as wrong is the first step, Confession, either directly to God or in front of the priest, is the next. but more importantly is how one amends one's life after these initial steps. Sinful behaviour is a turning away from God, contrition is turning back towards Him.

If I may offer a suggestion here?
God works in the hearts of mankind regardless of religious beliefs.
He has to, because God has no religious preferences.
If you were touched by the love of God, and His presence felt in the depths of your heart, then you know that God is real and very much alive.
That God can be touched simply by acknowledging Him with your heart.

Take that joy, that peace, that presence of God in you and just share it.

That is all! Just share it. For that will be the best testimony that anybody could ever give to show who and what God is.

We are as mirrors reflecting the goodness of God in which the world can see God by us.

If you are a Catholic, a Baptist, Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, or a Muslim, then just reflect the love of God, not the religious organizational beliefs, but simply the love of God.
If you do that in your present position as a Catholic or others, you will win more converts simply because of the demonstration of indiscriminate, unconditional love.

The love of God transcends all religious beliefs and unites all as one spirit. The spirit of love, of which God is.
If you are a priest, remain a priest, if you are a Muslim, remain a Muslim, or whatever you are, remain there for there is where God needs you. You are a worthy vessel for His service to your fellow brother or sister in bringing them the peace of God as given to you freely.

To dispense the love of God, need not be of any particular church affiliation, just you.

You are the church of God by which His message is being delivered to the world. You are the priest of your own temple, administering in service to your fellow humans the love of God in action. I mean make God real to those who have their doubts about it.

It's that simple, nothing complicated about it , if you just think about it for a moment.

My prayers are that all of you be touched by God's love above all else first. The rest can be taken care of later as His spirit begins to lead in your life.

Social ethics for the Christian will, therefore, always be in conflict with the perverse “values” of the modern governments who rejects God's will for individuals and society
