Second question:
One of the more controversial teachings of the Catholic church deals with the perpetual virginity of Mary. This doctrine maintains that Mary remained a virgin after the birth of Jesus and that biblical references suggesting Jesus had siblings are really references to cousins (Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 510).
As the veneration of Mary increased throughout the centuries, the vehicle of Sacred Tradition became the means of promoting new doctrines not explicitly taught in the Bible. The virginity of Mary is clearly taught in scripture when describing the birth of Jesus.

There are three historical views concerning the relationship of Jesus, Mary, and the "brothers and sisters."

1. Helvidian view: Held by the Protestants which says that the brothers and sisters were the offspring of Mary, and were literally the brothers and sisters of Jesus.
   1. "...this view was held by Tertullian, Helvidius, Bonosus, Jovinian, and others..."
2. Hieronymian view: Held by the majority of Roman Catholics which says that the term "brothers" is referring to relatives and cousins.
3. Epiphanian view: Not a popular view, that the brothers of Jesus were the children of Joseph from a previous marriage.

Which of these three views is correct? Naturally, as Catholics we believe in number two, the Hieronymian view.


So, in brief, no, Mary did not have other children.

We took our daughters to catachism every Sunday, did baptism, first communion, confirmation, but
one day the priest contacted us and said that if we didn't participate in the church, that our children
weren't welcome. From that point on, we let our daughters, either make the effort on their
own, or just let it go, which they did. I think that was an unfortunate ultimatum that was made to us
at that time, but, what the hey, our lives were full, and not effected by that experience in the long run.

Mayhaps, but I am not talking exceptions, I'm writing of the general rule. The confessional is sacred, and nothing is ever t be reveleaed, even to the person confessing.In other words, if you confessed a sin to me in the confessional, I would never bring it up to you when I saw you outside of the confessional.Theoretically what you told me should not even be on my mind when I run into you outside of the confessional, nor would I necessarily even know it was you that confessed.

I am the least of the least, believe you me. Nothing makes me better, or worse, than you. The Sacraments are of God, and it is His wisdom to allow them as He sees fit.Many occupations require their employees to adhere to rules and regulations that you or I are not allowed to copy, such as police departments for example, or medical professionals. Why be so irate that you cannot hear confessions? You are not allowed to do heart surgery either, and you do not seem to complain about that?! You are not allowed to do many things you are not trained or prepared to do.

In that, this does not make those who can do these things better than you or me. It simply means, in secular terms, that that is their jobs, not ours. In the same sense, there are certain things I am "allowed" to do because that is my "job".




As I indicated to you before, you should perhaps seek professional help to assist you with this unreasonable hatred. It will hurt you in the end, carrying such anger inside. No, you are not that six year old anymore, but also, I am not the priest that interacted with that six year old, so I refuse to accept blame for what happened to you.

I see a shrink thank you and Ive told you that quite a few times (great listening skills) and his avice was to see if you would behave in any other manner than any other priest in my life.....a test of sorts......you failed. My Sis sent me to her priest with some of your claims and he said that he's never known a priest to be aggitating people on line let alone pushing mentally ill peoples buttons. You yourself say Im nuts, I need a shrink yet you continue to ingage in attacking me. Its not "unreasonable hatred" Its a proven time after time learned reaction. You havent tried in any way shape or form tried to change my experience which conferms my experience. Nice job, your christ would be proud

I am not trying to make an argument, but only to provide a differnt view of questions beining entertained here.
Adam and Eve is a story of the creation of the flesh. Adam, meaning man.

Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

This is the account by which God wanted us to know about His creative process.

Having created the flesh, flesh then becomes "self" with all of it's selfish desires, mainly earhly lusts.

So, it is self or God: is the choice.

Now Mary and Jesus are a similar account of the "New Creation". But this time it in not a flesh body, but a spiritual body that is created.

God had to come in a flesh body, by Mary, in order to redeem mankind from self, which is what caused the separation in the first place.

For the bible says that Eve desired the fruit of the tree, which was lustful.

So Out of the "seed" of mankind (Mary) and the "seed"of God, Jesus came.

Jesus is the "Key Focuss" of what the whole bible is about, not someone else.

Therefore Jesus said: Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If one needs wisdom, let us ask God directly, for He promised us: am 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Yes sweetheart I do have issues with grownups that act sanctamonioius and think they're better than anyone else. I have issues with a church that hates women,homosexuals and the mentally ill. I have issues with MEN that put themselves ABOVE others. I have issues with a church that proclaims to be the ONLY way. So yes its a whole church its a whole way of life that I have issues with.

I have issues with Sanc because he's pious and a hypocrite. I hope you do as I had suggested in previous posts and take NOTHING I say or anyone else without researching it. Go with your gut.

Channelling is basically talking to dead people or spirit guides. My son died last may and I hear him and feel him a great deal. Theres been others but the point is if a priest is able to channell Why is it "tommyrot" I can? I hope you can see my points but if you cant please just be smart and do your research before you take on any church.

Herman, just the very thought of you still breathing is because He is watchful over you.

You may not recognize His watchfulness, but he is there.

Many times we ask but don't wait to see. We grow inpatient.

Once you ask, trust and wait. He will come through for you, not necessarily how you wanted, but a better way, seeming that He can see what we can't.

Don't look at people who claim this or that about God, for many of us are miserable witnesses.

But seek Him out for your self, put your heart into it, and you will get results.

I know, I have many times.

At first I downloaded a portion of it, but later ordered the CD.
I love it because I can fine any topic I want+it has Strong's concordance in it by which many words can be looked up for proper definitions.
It also has about fifteen bible commentaries.

If you really want to search out Gods wonderful mysteries, this is a great help.

No body is 100 percent right, Maple, that why "Faith" comes in and is fed by the Spirit of God.

You see, not everybody is at the same level of understanding, thereby, making it hard for some to understand somethings that are foreign to us.

But, the bible tells us to "prove" all things, meaning, don't take any body's word for it, you search it out yourself, and then make up your own mind.

That's where the Holy Spirit gives guidance, because He can see into your heart, and teach you what you need for the moment, and then later will give more. Bit by bit, line by line, He will not ever leave you or forsake you.
