Did we win yet?

Man, if they don't play soon they'll all have those beards.

what are your plans for watching the finals, does the whole family enjoy it?

or I should say, what are any of you planning, for watching the finals.

our youngest daughter and grandson will join us for most of the games, and

we'll treasure that special time together, good memories later, this particular

time doesn't come around that much, but maybe not, they might get here again next

year, 'win it this year, and next too', wow, too much to even imagine.

I am a bit alone watching it. My wife just checks in every once in a while. During the 3rd period of game 5 my daughter asked if she could turn it to "her shows". lol. Fat chance kiddo.

she's definitely not a hockey fan, as she would know what a dangerous question that is.

we had friends long ago, when the children were quite young, whom we visited quite often, BUT when
a hockey game was on, HE had a room in the basement, which he went into, closed the door, and no one
was allowed in there. We didn't go there on hockey days anyway, and we watched all of the hockey
games with all of our kids around us, but they soon loved the hockey just as much as we did, guess
we were just lucky, and we didn't care about surrounding sounds, could watch anyway.

in no time at all, when she was very young, one of our daughters knew all of the
players on all of the teams, what kind of skates they wore, what color the laces
were, how their sox fit, etc etc., no kidding, things we never noticed at all, just
the neat things a seven year old will begin to pick up, and she never stopped their,
she eventually knew much more than we did about all of the players all over the NHL,
their age, their size, were they started their careers, and where they are now, and
on and on it went.

I won't be completely alone tomorrow night as I am sitting six doggies right now and they all get into cheering by barking, howling and tearing around the room when I leap up to cheer. So it is almost like having someone else here with me. Our local Legion is hosting all the games and I may join some friends for the away games.

One more sleep, talloola. The tension is really getting to me - I spend ages watching TSN just so I can hear all the latest hockey news.

GO, CANUCKS, GO! Rock the ice, guys. :canada:

i'll really enjoy having my daughter and grandson watching with me, BUT I have to admit I feel slightly
annoyed at times, by the remarks my grandson makes to me, as he thinks because i'm his grandma I must
be completely dumb when it comes to hockey, so he contradicts me quite often, and also trys to explain
things to me that I learned when I was his age. lol lol just the little things in life.

I have an extra car flag, so I'm going right now, to tie it to a tree in the front yard, to give
the cul de sac a little more class, and also encourage the neighbours to get on board, 'this is
our time'.

I am picking Vancouver to win the series. But if they don't I'm going with Boston.

You heard it first here.

I'm probably banned from Vegas.

why, do you have money bulging from your closets and the freezer too, do they want it back,
you can see into the future, can see the winning numbers too?

ok then, let me know when the world is actually going to come to an end, you'll be the only
one who can really do that, how freaky that would be, nope on second thought I don't want to know. lol

This morning colin campbell stepped down from his position as the NHL diciplinarian. There has

been complaints about his 'conflict of interest position', as his son greg plays for boston, so

he is avoiding any problems that could arise from that situation.

The NHL say that this has been in the works for a long time, not sure if I agree with that, but

the decisions made throughout the season have been so inconsistent, that we have been left many

times scratching our heads at the suspensions, or lack of, and the number of games, or lack of.

Brendon Shannahan will take over that position for the finals, don't know if he is going to be

taking the position permanately.
