Text book performance by Canucks in every aspect except winning faceoffs. Canucks 2 Boston 1. Eddie Lack did everything except stand on his head. Another goal by Kassian. It doesn't get much better than that. So far .750 on the road trip.

Weird game tonight, by the 6 minute mark the Blue were up 2/0, by the 10 minute mark it was even steven!

One bad mistake by Lack may have cost him the start on Sunday.

It didn't :)

Canucks are definitely a character team tonight! Just have to keep my fingers, toes, eyes and ears crossed for one more period. No stupid penalties.................PLEEZE!

Very weird game- going into O.T. tied at 5/5.

Bitter sweet victory- the Blues certainly didn't need that point. Anyway they did manage to beat a supposedly better team!

Despite almost losing the game I liked what I saw from Vancouver. They could've folded the tent after the first two goals but didn't. Really outplayed SL in the second. Finished checks everywhere. Surprised they won the shootout against the lethal shootout guns of the Blues.

Definitely one of the craziest games I ever watched (had to surrender the T.V. to the little woman when St. Louis scored the 4th goal). It did prove a couple of things to me............that one they can battle their way through adversity and are not to be taken lightly when behind, but also they have to learn to protect a three goal lead. However I think it's a time for optimism.............just think what they will be able to do when all the key players out with injury return. I'm not going to jinx them now but I see a long season ahead for them.

Nah, first period tonight (down 3/0 at 8 minutes) doesn't warrant the T.V. I have. One bright spot, Willie Desjardins showed monumental class in offering Markstrom some encouragement, when he was at his lowest ebb. That, alone says a lot about Willie!

Well, they are clawing their way back in the 2nd thanks to 2 goals by Hank. Then S.J. scores one! It was just sh*t house luck for S.J. that Canucks didn't score during the time S.J. was down 2 men.

calgary over boston, minnesota over washington, dallas over florida, arizona over vancouver

calgary is playing very well in the absence of giordano, they haven't missed a step.

the vancouver arizona game was horrible, at least on the vancouver side. eddie lack should
be given a 5 million dollar raise tomorrow, he was outstanding, and the only reason his
team got one point, was his stellar play.

islanders over nashville

philladelphia over st.louis

tampa bay over toronto

oops, wrong thread, oh well doesn't matter, its all hockey.

you can never really know how a game was played if you don't watch it, no guarantee the 2nd and 3rd periods
will be same as the first, hAve to take the bad with the good, then you have seen all of it, and can
decipher the whole game, i have heard that so many times, "game wasn't worth watching", how do they really
know that, just word of mouth from others i guess.

if nothing else, eddie lack was worth the price of admission alone.

You're absolutely right as we saw in the game against St. Louis. I just really wasn't into watching it for some reason last night. Doing nothing in the four minute power play didn't help I guess. S.J. again tomorrow night might be interesting.

He's carrying a heavy load for someone so young and he sure did the job last night I hope his team mates & coaches let him know how much they appreciate his hard work.

yes, thats for sure, theyshould have been bowing and scraping to him because he gave them that one
point, he was a gem. heard an interview with him today, he is a very good person, a good heart,
and also very competetive and tough, while being thoughtful, mentioned how he feels so lucky to
be playing in the nhl.
the nhl is also very lucky to have him as well.

Excellent game- S.J. started out strong, but the Canucks have taken over, one goal late in the Ist and one goal late in the second. Two the of the stars have to be Eddie Lack and Bo Horvat. Beautiful goal by Horvat.

I think Canucks just put S.J. on the golf course for the summer. :) :)

Canucks have some tough games ahead. Two against Los Angeles. Of the teams left in the race Calgary probably has the best schedule. It's still anyone's to win and could go right to the wire.
