my previous post isn't my report, it is a canuck report, i just copy and paste for each game.
sometimes i add my own comments, but i didn't today, and i keep that separate from the canuck
report.

It's probably as good of a way as any to get informed!

tallola,

years ago when players did not wear helmets or visors, the head area by the mAjority of plAyers was not
targeted, with exception to a very few, which caused serious damage.

the hacking and wacking from sticks has been taken out of the game

Interesting how there was a similar discussion during a college football game on tv - back then the knees were targeted by defensive players and many players had career ending knee injuries. Since the head was not targeted there were far fewer concussions. Then starting around the late 70s or early 80s rules were changed and knees were no longer targeted and the result has been the endless head injuries we see today.

Under 17 tournament played in Ontario with Russia defeating USA 2-1 for the gold.

Good game, too. Lots of players on both squads have good future in the pro game.

I'm actually starting to like the Nucks. If they ever got rid of the Sedin sisters I might actually start cheering for them

well too bad that tonight is the night l.a. decided to remind everyone why they are the stanley cup winners.

they have all of their injuries healed up now, the teams lines are back together, and it showed.

a p;ositive note is that canucks can realize that they still have some work to do to improve, even though
they have done so well thus far, it is a good thing to be reminded that there are teams out there better,
so get back to the drawing board and move forward.
it was a bit of a clinic tonight, canucks were badly outskated, outhustled and outdefended, did a lot of chasing, trying to get the puck back, only to lose it again, and on and on, a real good lesson.

l.a. played a faster, heavier game than the canucks.

miller let is 'one' he would like back, but the rest on him were pretty well unstoppable.

the shot by carter on lack was a lazer.

it was satisfying to take their shut out away, glAd that happened.

the two wins canucks have are so valuable now, even though they didn't play very well gainst san jose,
they still walked away with a win, no one can take that away.

on to anaheim, lets see how that one turns out.

It's a blood bath!

the game wasn't rough at all, very little fighting or dirty stuff, didn't see blood at all.

just badlyi outplayed by the better team tonight.

I agree. I haven't thought anything you've said is important either

Vancouver Canucks vs. Anaheim DucksCANUCKS (10-5-0) at DUCKS (10-3-2)

The Anaheim Ducks have several question marks in their lineup going into Sunday against the Vancouver Canucks at Honda Center, but it's a strong likelihood that right wing Corey Perry won't play.

Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau said Perry, the NHL's co-scoring leader, will likely miss a third straight game because of flu-like symptoms.

"I'm expecting him not to play [Sunday], but I'm expecting him to be at practice on Tuesday, and be ready for next week," Boudreau said Saturday.

The same illness has affected defenseman Francois Beauchemin, who is questionable and could sit given the bug that has hit Anaheim's locker room. Defenseman Cam Fowler reportedly skated Sunday morning after a lower-body injury forced him out of the game Friday. Boudreau had left open the possibility of Fowler playing.

Vancouver also has health concerns after right wings Radim Vrbata and Derek Dorsett left the game in third period of a 5-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday. Vrbata is expected to play through a leg injury and Dorsett is doubtful, according to the Vancouver Province.

The main storyline is that Anaheim center Ryan Kesler will play his former team for the first time, as will Canucks center Nick Bonino and defenseman Luca Sbisa, former Ducks who were involved in the June 27 trade for Kesler.

"We're happy we're playing back to back, because you lose a game like this, you always want to get right back at it," Bonino said Saturday. "It just so happens that it's the Ducks."

Bonino leads Vancouver with seven goals but its offense was shut down against the Kings with one goal on 19 shots, which matched a season low.

"We talked about [how] this trip would kind of show us where we're at, and it's shown us where we're at," Vancouver coach Willie Desjardins said. "We're not good enough right now, and we have to get better. There's a difference when teams are really ready for you and when they're not, and we're getting teams that are really ready for us."

Anaheim has won six straight against Vancouver, which last beat the Ducks on Jan. 25, 2013.

well cory perry 'not' playing is very good news for canucks, improves their chances some.

Good for you, Talloola- Anyone on this forum with a single brain cell recognizes your vast knowledge of hockey and only a abject IDIOT would try to discredit you. Only people who have nothing going for them behave like that and he's widely recognized for what he is.:)

this was fun, and bieksa started it off with a bang, definitely a statement that this team is not going
to have the pitiful game they had last night.

their pride and determination carried the day, and it paid off big time.

so many canucks had very good games, and lack was great, maybe he would like that first goal
back, but everything else he did was so good, it doesn't matter.

the twins were very energetic and determined, and played so well.

burrows played his heart out, got a nice goal.

mathias is a wonderful, strong and very controlled skater, i love his skating, and his game is improving
leaps and bounds as they go along.

they can go home feeling great, and next time they meet l.a. things will be different, but forger that
game, as tonights game is a winner.

GO CANUCKS GO
