I don't. The only assumption I make is that you are a pain in the ass for everyone.

comments that are made solely to piss off others aren't worth 'anything', we need comments and answers
that are constructive and helpful to all of us, the former is the case with him, and that is too bad.
i've never understand anyone's desire to constantly put others down, as that only reflects back to
the person doing it, and shows big flaws in character.

as soon as he realizes that he can't even become a pain in the ass any more, will be success for the
rest of us, anyway the canucks are the interest here, so they do play tonight in calgary, their first
meeting this season, calgary are playing well right now, so we can't march in there with any idea
that they will continue to be doormats for other teams.

Iginla has improved his game, looks like his old self, and the games I've watched, kiprosoff has been
his usual marvelous self, he has kept them in the game and allowed them to win, he is a marvelous
goalie, and the backbone of that team, and without him, they would be nothing, so tonight, even if
we manage to outplay calgary, then there is that 'goalie' waiting for us to challenge him, not an
easy task.
Luongo will have to match him, or be better, but he doesn't have the side to side
movement that kipper has, and has to work harder to make those kind of saves, so
hopefully he can do that tonight.
If anyone has seen lungo walking around in street clothes or workout gear, you will
notice he is very bowlegged, hence, can't do the side to side splits as well as
many other goalies,(I suppose that is the reason), and he also doesn't move from one post to the other post as
cat quick as some other goalies, but he does have great athletic qualities with his
upper body and hands.
In the past four or five years, many great goalies have made their way to the starting position of teams, very good quality goalies, wasn't that many a few years
ago, then, the good ones like luongo really stood out, not so much any more, he is
blending in with the rest.

calgary had a good second period, and I thought the 3 rd period would be a barn burner,
but calgary folded and vancouver came on, and the rest is history.

kipper looked great until he saw that the game was out of reach, then he let up and
looked very ordinary, maybe he's getting tired of being the very best player on the flames,
every game, it's OK, if he wins, but not so good with all the losses.

congrats to mason raymond with the hat trick, he probably had lots of family in the building,
as he is from that neck of the woods. there were many canuck fans there as well, even heard
'lets go canucks' chant at one time during the game.

canucks have lots of games this month.

I suppose having a team like the Canucks-who have thousands and thousands of local supporters-is something of a mixed blessing for the Flames.

Sure the game sells out but when the home team sucks and local resident non-supporters are rubbing in their face it must be a miserable place to play.

yes, I agree, but could have been a group there who flew in for the game, a canuck secton, along
with a smattering around the rink of locals who cheer for vancouver, who are from vancouver originally.

I could go to a game in calgary in one hour from courtenay, probably no more expensive
than 'me' going to a game in vancouver, not sure how their ticket prices compare to vancouvers, probably
very close in price.

Canadian NHL fans are vile and mean to their home teams when they don't deliver what 'they' want.
especially after they have been slurping beer all thru the game, and their mouths get louder and
dumber.

Have you sought professional help for your problems? Why would anybody assume that expressing contrary opinions are "solely to piss off others". Perhaps if contrary opinions bother you so much, you should abstain from forums such as this so your panties don't get too twisted.

The simple fact of the matter is that I believe the nucks are not as good as some others say and your opinion on the matter means little to me. Perhaps if you showed a little hockey knowledge and actually provided evidence refuting what I say, people other than nucks fans might put some stock in your opinions. Simply put, people like you, Juan and JLM are nothing more than homers. Homers are a dime a dozen and they all have pretty much the same reaction to anybody interrupting their fantasies. You remind me of some of the Flames fans on another forum that believe Kipper will lead the Flames to the Cup this year. They get their knickers twisted with me as well. They also have a tough time sticking to the guts of the debate.

I will admit to being a homer of sorts. When I worked in Edmonton for a few years I cheered for the Oilers. When I was in Winnipeg I cheered for the Jets as long as I could. Now that I'm back on the west coast I cheer for the Canucks.....So What?

Btw ......Vancouver has as good a chance as any to get into the cup final but anything could happen.....Hey.......Maybe Toronto will win the cup......

Hmmmmmmmmmmm of the three people you mention and yourself you are the one in greatest need of professional help. Who cares what our opinions mean to you. Out of fairness Talloola has as much if not greater knowledge about N.H.L. hockey as anyone on this forum but more important than her knowledge is her loyalty to the home team. If you have a problem with that you are indeed sick. CANUCKS OVER THE LONG HAUL are pretty much as good as any team in the league, I'm talking on average, of course pretty well ALL the teams excel on a given night and all teams can fail on a given night.

you remind me of many others who think they are right, and the rest of the world are wrong, they are a dime a dozen.

If you knew anything about me at all, you would see that I am not just a canuck fan, I am a hockey fan,
and a hockey lover, and anyone who comes here will know that, but you don't seem to be able to grasp that,
your loss I guess.

The type of criticism you dole out is just surface, made up stuff, just to piss everyone off, as it has
no relationship to fact, but you are not interested in fact, only put downs.

JLM, Juan and myself are three different people, who actually approach the game 'different' than each other,
but you also can't seem to see that, too bad, some people send information 'out', but no information 'in',
and you fit that bill perfectly.

With the streaming connection I watch games from all over the league.

The level of respect that other broadcasters/commentators and league organisations show Vancouver-not just during games but from casual asides-is indicative of the level of hockey talent and strong management Vancouver has now.

This is not a finely nuanced fantasy this is real hockey talk from experienced professionals.

Looks like the Oilers are out of their funk and just smokin' - it could be a huge mistake to take any matches against them for granted.

or any other team either JLM, taking any team for granted is a ticket to failure. Those young guys the oilers have now, are startin to roll, there is lots
of talent on that team, and they are beginning to become a team, the young guys are settling in and
adjusting to the high level in the NHL, not juniors anymore and it takes time to bring their games
up to the level they need to make a difference, and they're doing that now.
They won't get their way with all the teams like they did with toronto tonight, and it seemed
toronto took them for granted.

Also their goalkeeping is better now.

I'm glad to see them get better, I like Tom Rennie as a coach, and he deserves a better team.
Pat Quinn did nothing for that team last year, too bad tom rennie wasn't the coach then too,
don't think they would have sunk as low as they did.

absolutely, I hear it too.

when canucks play their best, it will be hard for any team to beat them, they do have a high level of
talent, just need to be a little more consistent, and many other good teams are the same.
It's hard to play at the top of your game every game, but those who get the closest to doing so, are
the most successful, and injuries play a vital role.

LOL pot, meet kettle.
Cannuck you'd do well to pay attention to Talloola. I played hockey for eighteen years and coached minor hockey from Atom Div. up to Midget "B" but for overall knowledge about NHL hockey, Talloola is our resident guru.

I think you meant "your" resident guru...and judging by the level of discussion on this thread, I can't say I'm surprised.

I will ignore your sarcasm to repeat that if you want to know what is going on with any of the many teams and any of the six hundred odd players in the NHL, Talloola is the one to ask.
