This is awesome. I guess they hadn't meant for all religions to advertise..only certain ones. So much for religious freedom...

Seems like most of the discord these days originates from the secular demographic.

Interesting, non?

What a horrible secular dystopia we live in where members of religious groups disrupt the public square demanding statues. Man those secular Hindus are fanatical with their secular monkey god statues. What next? Secular Buddha appearing on my grilled cheese? When will the secular onslaught end?

... The moment that everyone simply minds their own business and stops worrying about all those that have different sets of beliefs.

Great, so in that moment Hindus and Satanists can put statues to their gods on public land, right? Nobody would take issue with it because they all just mind their own business.

Attacking Religion is cool. It gets back at dead grandmas worldwide.

Yep.... Sure are a collection of real heroes, eh?

How about pose the question at the ballot box?.. If that is the will of the majority, then so be it... If it is turned down, then tough luck and the parties denied can stop bitching

Deciding what statues religious people can put up is not the beautiful world you described where everyone minds their own business. Putting it to a vote would be minding other people's business.

Fine... Put up whatever statue you want on your own property.

Propose to set up on public land, then get the public's approval

So you're saying that what goes on public land is everybody's business? But that means when Hindus, Satanists and 'secularists' make claims on what they want on public land they are minding their business.

This is exactly what is happening. Wait... is your beautiful utopia a reality today?

They are not 'minding their own business' in erecting statues on public land.... It is property that belongs to 'the public' no different than if a gaggle of Satanists unilaterally decided to set up a camp ground in your front room.

... And yes, I get it... These groups constitute a part of the 'public', but that does not offer them the right to unilaterally decide what should or should not happen.

Like I said, put it to a vote by the public and live with the result

So let me just get this straight. Your world free of secularism, when people mind their own business, wouldn't have various religious groups demanding statues on public land, because that wouldn't be minding your own business.

Like I said, get the body of the public to agree and you're gold... Don't get it, and too bad.

This isn't that difficult.

As for 'minding your own business'... Public lands/facilities are the business of 'the public', so any 'demands' are to be agreed to by 'the public'

Clear now?

So when Hindus and Satanists say they want statues on public land, they are in fact minding their own business, because as you said, public land is the business of the public and they are part of the public.

In this contradictory world you're painting, what exactly does not minding your own business look like or how is the secular boogieman involved?

... Tired of playing the semantics game with you.

You have a defeatist attitude.... Good luck in life

Why don't you just admit that nothing you said makes any sense? When you said "mind their own business" what you really meant was "shut up and accept the state religion." Stop pretending like it was anything else.
